Hmph. I love Lady Gaga

But the thing that really annoys me is when someone comes in an Anti twilight thread and tells those twilight-haters "OMG HOW COULD YOU HATE TWILIGHT!!". Well, if you love twilight, dont go in an anti twilight thread. They never listen. It annoys me. I don't get it.

In the words, what I said earlier;
Also, these Twilight Haters threads. Can't we have a little peace around here? All I see is, 'Twilight is gone to far!!' or 'TWILIGHT IS EVIL' or 'Has TWILIGHT gone to farrr??!! SPARKLY VAMPS?'
If you hate it so much, then just say it in a NICE way. No need to say 'OMG, HOW CANZ U LIKE TWILIGHT??!! EDDIE CULLEN IS DISGUSTING!'

And the other way around. Changing the minds of twilight obsessed teenagers never ever works. Get that into your heads already!
What really annoys me is pop music in general. I just hate it and I hate most of the singers too. So many of them sound like crap live. I know that most artists do mix up thier voice for a better effect, but seriously? if you can't sing without a recording studio I suggest you stop with the concerts. No one likes hearing you screech into a microphone and pretend you're the most amazing singer in the world.
It's really quite sad how many people that describes.

I used to totally hate pop music of any kind, but now There's some that I really don't mind. I mean of bunch of it is really bad, I can't deny that. but when you listen to some of it, Lady Gaga especially (I have to listen to a pop station every day to and from school on the bus) you start to get used to it and even like it. It's nice to just go with the beat sometimes. And I get where you're coming from, because I do listen to other types of music. but it's nice to be able to sing along with people and jam, even if it's not the greatest.
(I also happen to love Lady Gaga, I think the things she does with music are really interesting.)
Happy Spring!

I used to always just listen to country and absolutely nothing else. I grew up on it, so it was what I knew and loved. Then, as Kohaku said, I got exposed to it through bus trips, new people from college, etc. and now I actually just listened to a song by Nickelback and I like a few songs by Lady Gaga (my favorite being Pokerface). I also have songs by Katy Perry, Cascada, Flo Rida, and others. So I've gone from "I hate every type of music except country" to "I don't mind the song as long I can understand the lyrics and the message and/or it has a good beat to it".
I don't like it when people yell at me like I'm crazy because I have one Miley Cyrus song (Party in the USA). It's my sorority's anthem and CS seems to be the only place where I run into people who don't like it. Even girls who don't like Miley Cyrus in my house like that song, me included. Just because I have one song of hers doesn't mean I worship the ground she walks on. I hear it everywhere else, so why not have it on my own computer?
Yes, I am quitting. No, you cannot have any of my pets. They are all being sent to the Pound.

I can't stand it when people say thing like "I hate my *insert mom, dad, brother or sister here*" or any variations of that. My mum is the most important person in my life, she has helped me through so much and I admire her enormously. I love her more than my heart can handle. :'3 My brother throws a few un-needed comments here and there but is still amazing and unbelieveably nice, considering he has to put up with me. x3 Same with all the other members of my family. I'm not afraid to say I love my mum or other family members, even though everyone else in my class might be.
It seems to be so normal for someone to openly insult their family members or to tell everyone embarassing stories and comments about them. In my family, we have a strict "what's said or done in the family is left in the family". It's so hard to understand how people can airily say they hate their parents or something. >.> Hate is a very strong word, and I don't think people realise that.
I also can't stand when people insult my family members. Spare yourself a few injuries and don't talk smack about my relatives. 3:< Well, I'd doubt you'd be hurt much, though being attacked by a 70 pound 13 year old might be a bit traumatizing. x3
Ah well. Just a little rant from my frustrated little mind. Might not make a lot of sense, I tend to write odd things when I have something on my mind.
*Please note that I'm not talking about people who have been abused or have any other valid reason not to like their relatives. :3

"I Kissed a Girl" is an insult to bisexuality that basically says "I'm a temporary lesbian for attention."
Full agreement on that one. >.< It's such blatant pandering and faux-edginess on top of that; there are few songs I find absolutely no redeeming value in, but that's one of them.
It's always kind of sad to see kids saying they 'hate' their parents because they won't buy C$ or make them go to bed, that sort of thing. I have some friends who have excellent cause to hate their parents and they still try to explain it away or justify their parents' actions in some way, because no matter what their parents did they still want to love them and forgive them. There's a huge difference between hating a person's actions and hating the person, and a lot of young people don't seem to realize that, hence all the 'I hate my parents/brother/sister' stuff. My older brother and I didn't always get along and we'd do things to annoy each other all the time, and sometimes I'd wish he'd just disappear, until one day he did. He's been gone for over ten years now, and I just wish I could have him back, no matter how aggravating he was at times. So many people don't realize that someone you love could easily be gone forever the next day.
