Of course they dont just kill sick animals. But I objected because Demotivated Bear's post was redundant and seemed to lack research because he said "If it is easy to catch and kill, a wolf will catch and kill it. They don't care how healthy it is." and if it isn't healthy then it clearly is easier to catch and kill.

First of all, I'm a girl. I am the Bear portion of this account, Demotivated types in red.
Second of all, I've researched wolves all my life.
So, young are always sick then? No.
Of course wolves will kill injured or sick animals first, that's because they are slower and easier to catch. I never said wolves don't kill sick animals, don't put words in my mouth.
Here, let me make this perfectly clear:
Wolves do not care how healthy their prey is. They care about what will be easiest to catch. Sick does not always mean an easy catch.
Do YOUR research next time, or learn how to use context when you are reading.

If its a choice between sick and elderly then maybe but still. I don't think I ever said you said wolves don't catch sick animals, so how about you don't put words in my mouth. And I actually do do my research and don't appreciate being accused of otherwise. Now what you seemed to be saying is they don't care about health when they do, because less health makes it easier to catch. Now I'm sorry about calling you a boy, I looked at the stamp that said Brony and that means a boy who likes my little pony and I didn't know you had a shared account. I don't read minds.

I will admit that yes, most of the time a sick animal is the easiest to catch. That is not always the case however.
If there's a herd of elk or something caught in the snow, and the wolves come across a healthy one that's stuck before they come across the sick one, they're not gonna go further to get after the sick one. That's all I'm trying to say.

When I mentioned young, it was to help illustrate my point. Many times, a perfectly healthy, baby animal is easier to catch than an ill adult.

Wolves do not care about health. They care about ease of the hunt. It just so happens that many times, health plays a large factor in that ease. That's all I'm trying to say c:

Well... Has anyone ever been to some sort of wolf haven? I have been to wolf timbers and wolf park, I wanted to go to wolf parks camp this summer but I am going to music camp, but I am hoping to work it in
