Adam smiled down at her."what are you thinking?"he asked softly.

Zack lifted her chin up. "What they don't know won't hurt them!" he exclaimed, trying hard to cheer her up. he hated seeing her sad, and he knew he had to persuade her. 'We could run. We could get away from this forest," he finally decided.

Alice frowned. "Nothing. But isn't this forbidden?" she asked. Her arms slowly unwrapped from him, and she stepped back. "Adam, what if we get in trouble?"
