On Friday, Jan. 20, *Removed name for purposes* the *removed position for privacy purposes*, postponed the Senate vote on the Protect I.P. Act, also known as PIPA. Shortly after, *Removed name for purposes*, delayed the vote on the Stop Online Piracy Act, or SOPA. Both votes were originally scheduled for today.
It's been post-poned, because as of yet the president has not signed to either pass it or have it veto'd. More than likely, with the outcry of sites and people, it will be veto'd. Must remember, though, even if it gets veto'd by the president, if 2/3's of the congress agree with it, it'll still pass.
