Sandstorm nodded. He stepped forward and gingerly picked one up with his teeth by the top and set on a flat-ish rock. He then delicately bit in the top layer and pulled off some revealing the juicy bright yellow fruit on the inside. He continued this till most of outer layer had been pulled off. He turned to Kiela “It's hard work but it's worth it.” he told her proudly smiling and stood tall. He walked over to her and gently touched her ear “I want you to have the first bit” he said gently smiling and gazed into her eyes with his. She smiled and flicked her ears in embarrasement as he looked into her eyes and nodded slowly before going over to the revealed fruit. She lowered her head to it, sniffing it once or twice before actually taking a small bite. It was sweet, juicy, and even tangy which had her jaw lock from the obvious sweetness of the yellow fruit. It was a new thing she tried and she liked it. She backed away a step after she got the feeling in her jaw again and looked back at him with a warm smile on her face. "It's amazing. I love it." She had cheerfully said with a bit of a bounce in her steps as she stood there. She laughed softly and shook out her flowing mane. Her forelock went back into her eyes after she shook her mane out.

Storm's Destiny

The paint mare lived in the mountains for a week since she got here. She was so confused about this place, she wanted to know where she really was. She heard that there was a herd nearby and so she decided to ask them for answers. She slowly started to walk down the steep mountain, trying not to trip or fall over rocks.

Sandstorm stepped forward on used his muzzle, as an affectionate gesture, and moved her bangs from her face over to the side revealing her dazzling her eyes and smiled.

She began to blush when he pushed her bangs affectionately out of her eyes. She felt her heart skip a few beats as she looked at him and she could feel how breath-taking the moment was so she looked away slightly from a bit of embarasement and hoped that he hadn't seen how pinkish her face had turned. After a few moments, she looked over at him and looking into his eyes, she smiled warmly and heartedly at him. She was lost for words, even though she could just say thanks for moving her bangs, she just stood there unable to come up with something to say or do.

Sandstorm looked deeply into her eyes and seemed to read her mind “No need to say anything.” he told her smiling just as warmly.

She felt her heart race as he spoke. It had seemed to her that he read her mind some how but ignored the thought of it ever being possible. She hesitated for a moment before she backed away and lowered her head feeling a bit embarrased from how she was reacting to him. She couldn't explain it really, so she thought it was just a fase she was going through. A strange fase at that... She still didn't know what to say to him. It was like her mind was completely blank excapt the fact that so many things had been running through it as she stood there almost pink in the face.

Sandstorm tried not to blush either so maybe her's would fade, even a little bit. He too, was lost for words. But how could he explian the reason why he had done that? Simple. He didn't have to. He wondered how she felt about it, how she felt about him...His feelings were clear, he just hoped she was the same...
