Hello, and welcome to CS!
The following links and topics will help you to understand the site more and avoid having to ask questions which may be answered elsewhere. This list doesn't have every piece of information about CS (and don't feel that you have to read everything all at once), but it will help you get started out with the basics.
Rules
- Site and Forum Rules Rules that must be followed by every user.
- Before posting in a forum it is best to check all topics which are 'stickied' (stuck at the top of the topics list). These often contain rules and other important information regarding that specific area of the site.
General Help
- CS Help Section Information about the site's basic aspects.
- Frequently Asked Questions Questions that are asked often that may not be covered in the help section.
- Newbie Guide & Index Explains the site's features in detail.
- Dress Up Guide How to use items on your pets and enter them into the dressup challenge.
- Pets can not be bred An answer regarding why users are not able to breed their pets.
- A Guide Index~ A more detailed post containing many more guides. A good place to look for information on a whole range of topics.
- CS Trading Guides and Help Forum This forum contains many topics where you can learn about how to trade fairly, ask for advice about trades you send/receive or find out how much your pets/items might be worth.
Roleplaying
- A Roleplaying Guide Explains what roleplaying is and how to join. A must-read for beginners!
- Hints and Tricks for Roleplay Hosting A rundown on creating your own roleplay.
- Creating your Character Everything you need to know about creating a well-rounded character.
- Image Use Guide If you want to use a picture to show your roleplay character's appearance, this will help you find pictures you are free to use.
Art/Oekaki
- How to Use Oekaki? A guide which goes over how to start drawing on the oekaki.
- Starting an Art Shop If you want to start your own art shop on CS, read this guide.
- How to Link Back to Free Lineart on Your Thread This goes over how to give credit to the artist of a lineart if you use someone else's work as a base.
How to Get More Help
If you have a question you can't seem to find the answer to, you can send in a help ticket to CS staff, who will answer you as soon as possible. You can also post a thread in the CS Help, Questions and Problems forum where any CS members will be able to answer you.
