...I honestly don't know what to say besides that I am unbelievably happy with the way it turned out, especially the background. I actually spent a couple hours on it :D
I recently got pressure sensitivity and this started out as just a sketch and experiment, then ended up as a full on drawing :3 THis is probably my first drawing not abusing my blur and smudge to get shading/lighting smooth because of the pressure thingy. The only time I used blur was the s/l on the pond and person just to make is semi-smoother looking, otherwise, everything was just strokes with the pressure sensitivity ^_^

Very well done, LunaSoul! You did a great job on this whole oekaki! =D
The character is wonderfully drawn, but I particularly like how you didn't just skip over the background as many good artists tend to do. It looks wonderful.
The only suggestion I might make is to add a little tree-reflection in the pond to make it more... shiny. I like shiny things.
You could duplicate one of the tree-trunks, flip it upside-down, and then lay it at a low opacity over the pond. A little bit of brushing over with the soft eraser is a nice way to touch the reflection up a bit. ;]
