Jack didn't bother with any more and quickly picked her up, rushing from the hotel and to the doctor, Cote running behind him still carrying the snake. He rushed into the doctors, "we need the doctor!"

Katy leaned on him, scared and unsure of what was going on. She watched as a doctor rushed over.

"What is it?" The doctor asked

"she's been bit by a rattlesnake." Jack said ignoring Cote as the canine once again laid down and ate the snake.

The doctor nodded, "Come with me." he said, walking to the back room

Katy looked up at Jack, scared

Katy tried to calm down. "I don't wanna die." she said, softly. Her mother had died from a rattle snake bite.

"Just lay her on the bed." the doctor said, after entering a room

Jack sat her on the bed. He didn't know what to say and didn't want to lie so he remained silent.

The doctor rolled up the pant leg to just above her knee. He worked on the bite, cleaning it and doing what he could
