Danni walked over to him, wrapping her arms around him. "Thanks."

Luke smiled, "Because all my other friends ran. Glad you wont." He said, laying down. "I never got your name..?"

Carrie said, "My name is Carrie...."

Luke chuckled, "I'm Luke. Funny we're introducing now."

Danni smiled and pulled away. She then jumped at the sudden crash of the window in the kitchen. "Right. I helped my brother break out of a lab so the government is chasin' both of us. Fun right?" She whispered, peeking into the kitchen.

Carrie smiled, "Yeah its a little strange."


Hunter's claws came out when he heard the crash.

"Don't worry. It's one man, I'll get him." Danni said, grabbing her pistol. She walked into the kitchen, holding the gun straight against the man's head. "Surprise." She pulled the trigger, but there was no sound and the man fell down, dead. She began to kick as she was wrapped in strong arms, a gun leveled to her head.

Luke smiled, then frowned. "Me and my sister were going to move tomorrow though, into the country so the government can't find us easily..."

Carrie smiled, "Hmm. Safer that way."


Hunter came in and attacked one of the men.

The man who grabbed Danni dug the gun deeper into her head, "If you hurt us, I kill the girl."

Danni's eyes trailed to the light switch, urging Hunter to turn them off.

Luke nodded, then sat up. "I want you to come- And your mother."

Hunter glanced at her then used one of his claws to short-circut the switch. It hurt because of the electricity but he healed quick.


Carrie asked, "How do you know about my mother?"

Danni grinned and slipped out from under him, kicking him into the stove. She turned the stove on quickly, then shot the man. She watched his corpse burn, then turned to attack the other man in the dark.
