Myra laughed softly at his appearance before she dove back into the water, gently placing the rock back at the bottom. She lingered there for a moment, watching a few small plants sway in the current.

Drake smiled when she laughed, although you couldn't tell because of the water. He watched her dive back down, and took a breath through his nose, before he sank down with her.

Myra started to swim back up when something wrapped around her ankle stopped her. She glanced down at it, her lungs starting to ache as she fumbled with the plant keeping her from resurfacing.

Drake didn't notice Myra stuck, until a few seconds afterwards. He quickly swam towards her, but he had to fight the current. A few bubbles came out of his mouth as he searched for his pocket knife in his pocket.

Myra gritted her teeth as she struggled against the plant, feeling along the bottom for a sharp rock or something to cut it with, releasing a small bubble of air when she found none.

Drake found his pocket knife, but he couldn't get it out. He let a few more bubbles escape in anger, and managed to reach Myra. He began to tug at the plant, trying to break it.

Myra was beginning to lose consciousness, her struggles becoming feebler.

Drake couldn't break the plant, and felt himself running low on air. He tried to get his pocket knife out again, losing more air in the process. He finally managed to pry it out, a small puff of red coming after it; the knife had cut into him in the process of taking it out. He quickly began to cut at the plant, his lungs screaming.

A few more bubbles flitted away from Myra before she fell unconscious.

Drake continued to cut through the plant, before his body automatically took in a breath for him, but only water came. His eyes widened, feeling himself drown. He felt the plant snap in half, and quickly pushed Myra up, swimming up with her. He pushed her body to the edge, and onto the land, before the last few bubbles escaped from him. He closed his eyes, and dropped his knife in the water, the current taking him downstream. ((He's not dead xD))
