Dane smiled but blinked sadly at her alarm and opened his mouth to speak. "I'm...s-" he started but glanced away and headed back to his room. He sat on his bed and stared at the floor, he took one look at a picture in the corner. Tears immediately flowed from his face, he stayed silent but his body quivered.

Delilah purred in delight before nuzzling his stomach.
