Mosspelt turned on Jaypaw and said seriously "This is no time to wait. Now go! You'll have your chance!" And that was when the fox attacked, landing squarley on Mosspelt. He crawled out and yelled "Go!" And backed up, fur bristling.

Jaypaw backed up, her eyes wide. "O-okay, I'll be right back!" She stuttered before bounding back to camp as fast as her legs would carry her. "Help!" She screetched as soon as she reached it, skidding to a stop. "Mosspelt's being attacked by a fox!"

Hawksky heard the apprentice and ran out of camp. "Mosspelt!" he called.

out in the woods, Shadow and Forestlight heard yowling. "What is that?" Shadow gasped.

Hawksky quickly found Mosspelt and the fox. He lpt for the animal's face, clawing its muzzle. Blood sputed out and the fox snarled and shook Hawksky off. Hawksky paused for a second on the ground, dazed, before growling and leaping at the fowx's back foot, biting it.

Shadow glanced at hsi mentor, then ran off in the direction of the yowls. "Come on, Forestlight!!" He screched over his shoulder. "They need help!"
