"Ok." Vera said, nodding and putting Dapple in her stall. After brushing Dapple down and feeding her, she looked at Zack. "So where are we sleeping?" She asked quizzically, the butterfly's wings starting to droop slightly.

Arthur's eyes tightened and slowly fluttered open. He rubbed his eyes and sat up in his bed.

Reyen groaned and put his pilliow over his head as the bright morning light streamed through his window.

"There's snow outside!" Ace yelled.
Zack shifted into a hawk and flew over to the boarding house. He hovered in front of the open door, waiting for Vera.

Vera went out, seeing the hawk in front of her. Not really knowing which one this was, she looked at it for a while before she smiled. "Zack?" She asked questioningly.

"Yes! Here's your bed," he said hovering about an empty bed. the veered to the other side of the the room and shifted back into a mountain lion before leaping onto his bed and curling up in a ball.

She lay down in her bed and fell asleep quickly, the butterfly doing the same on a desk not to far away.

Zack opened his eyes to a cold winter light. He stood up and streatched, his tail curling. He cleaned his whiskers then leaped out the window. He landed on freezing white stuff. Snow? He leaped back in and padded over to Vera. He prodded her gently with a paw. "Wake up, it snowed! it snowed last night!" he whispered.
