Farah drew her gun and motioned for the group to stop. She took a moment to look at the boy who'd appeared in front of them.
"Lovely," she muttered, "And what makes you think we'll so readily trust you? If you haven't noticed we haven't had the best luck with...strangers."
She narrowed her eyes, wondering if this guy was an Agent. If he was they'd never make it to the city before dark.
Great, just what we need, she thought bitterly.

Alice|Cat Hybrid|Female

Alice was tense and her eyes locked on the visitor. Her hand flew to her knife and she drew it out. If the boy was an agent, they had ran into trouble. She didn't think he was, but she never did trust easily. Whether he was an agent or not, he was slowing them down. They needed to reach the city before dark and he wanted them to come with them. Her bright green eyes were unwavering from the person that lay before them. She listened for anyone sneaking up on them, trying to figure out if it was a trap. Her hand tightened around her knife at the thought.

He looked at the group then sighed, rubbing his temples as he explained, "I am one of you, I have the static enhancements." He said after explaining how he escaped then got sent here. His green eyes still didn't give any of the extra and important facts away, "Please call me Slyvester.... Slyvester Ferrel." He sighed, knowing that nobody in this group would probably know about his last name.

She narrowed her ice blue eyes at the stranger than pulled out a knife if this strange man was a Agent. She looked him over and realized who he was when he said his name. She came closer and placed her knife away on her belt, "It is you Slyvester! I thought you would be dead by now." Her voice was sharp at the last part, it literally oozed with suspicion and curiosity. "This is my brother; We lived together and got caught by the scientists, but I escaped..."

Farah sighed slightly at Slyvester's story and nodded.
"If-," she started, but Re interrupted. She raised an eyebrow at the exchange. Wait, this guy was her brother?
"I...guess that settles that then," she said. If Re trusted him, he probably wasn't going to murder them, but never-the-less, she'd be keeping her eye on him.
"Alright, Mister Ferrel," she said, "I suppose the worst of my suspicions have been proved false. Lead the way."

Alice|Cat Hybrid|Female

Alice relaxed some nodding. She reluctantly put her knife away looking up at him her bright green eyes guarded. "Nice to meet you Sylvester. I am Alice." She said not mentioning her last name. She ran her fingers through her jet black hair. She rarely talked, no one really asked her to talk anyways. She wasn't a leader and felt out in the open in the prairie. She sighed softly, longing for the forest. She focused her eyes back on Sylvester giving a small smile. She was not the type of person that trusted easily, especially because of her past, the one she hated talking about, the one that not one person knew about besides her, and the killer.

Sisi tensed at the hostile note in Farah's voice, even when he said he had enhancments she remained on guard. However once he said his last name was Ferrel she lowered her gun. Ferrel? Re's brother? Indeed Re step forward and identified him as her brother. Hesitating for a few seconds she put away her gun and said "Well if you two don't mind walking and catching up at the same time we should get moving." Her voice held a note of urgancy for both the setting sun and her coming attack. Taking one last look around she started of her pace brisk and with purpose.

He nodded and beckoned with his hand towards the town that was a few miles away. He was slightly surprised when Alice talked to him, "Hello, Alice, I am sure that you'll like our town, it is one of the few towns that didn't get destroyed as much as the others." He said, his eyes narrowed to the tiny speck of dot that was the beginning of the town. The park that was put up to try to regain some of the green instead of a muddy brown. His voice had a slight Austrian accent instead of the usual American accent that most of the group had.

Alice nodded. She ran her fingers through her jet black hair as her bright green eyes followed his gaze to the town that rested in the distance. She knew they needed to get there soon, night would fall rather quickly. She rocked back and forth on the soles of her feet her eyes shifting between Sylvester and the speck that would be the town. Even though the town was far away, she could see it easily because of the cat blood that raced through her veins as well as her own.

Sylvester looked at the group, it would take another twenty minutes to reach the town from here. The colors of the sky reminded him of all the people they had lost during the Apocalypse. His green eyes cloud then turned their usual ivy green when he turned to the group, "I am an expert on healing, I able to patch up any wounds that are serious enough." He said with a thin smile, his thoughts on getting the group over to the city to rest. He turned back to the city that was now bigger than a fist from their point of view, it was only a few minutes before they reached the town.

Alice smiled slightly. Sylvester seemed nice. She looked at the growing city and relaxed. Sylvester was not setting them up into a trap. She listened to the gentle footfalls and looked up as the silence was broken by Sylvester's voice. She looked over to Dominic who had already bandaged up his wounds then back at her feet. She walked on the outside of the group, her own footsteps silent. She ran her fingers through her jet black hair looking around. She was glad they were coming to a city. The open prairie was beginning to make her feel edgey and uncomfortable when she longed for the shelter of trees, of a forest. A town was better than a prairie by far.
