Madelyn felt him twitch. She pulled away quickly and opened her eyes. "Did I do something wrong..?" She asked, watching him. "I hope not.."

Nathan shook his head. "No no, I'm fine," he replied, his voice a little croakier, softer and higher then usual. He felt like a grandpa or grandma Bones hurting and muscles stinging, barely being able to move. But Nathan's pain was nothing like that. And hopefully, that pain would be something that Nate would never experience. His was only a little sting. Just a small muscle pull.

[bows over bros;]

"You..You look like your in pain.." Madelyn whispered, not believing that he was fine. "What happened outside my window? Did you hurt yourself even more?" She asked, starting to panic. She hoped that he didn't hurt himself just to keep her out of trouble.

Nathan shook his head. "No. Madelyn, I'm fine! Really! Nothing happened outside or anything," he said. He was definitely not going to say 'trust me'. What kind of boyfriend would he be if he said that and she trusted him? An idiot one. He would tell her soon, anyway. When she was in a good mood that couldn't turn bad at all.

[bows over bros;]

"Okay.." Madelyn nodded, squeezing his hand. "I'm sorry I doubted you.." She sighed and put her head on his chest, closing her eyes slowly. "Hmm...."

Nathan smiled. "It's okay. You did nothing wrong," he told her reassuringly, squeezing her hand tightly in return. Seeing Madelyn close her eyes, reminded him of how his eyes were itchy. He closed them slowly, and rubbed them with his free hand.

"I...I love you." Madelyn whispered, her heart racing fast.

Nathan laughed. "You already said that, Maddie," he told her with a smile. "And I love you too," he added calmly and casually, squeezing her hand again. 'How long do you think we'll last before somebody tries coming in again?" he asked Madelyn jokingly with a small grin.

"I hope no one does.. But my brothers tend to try to come in around 4 in the morning." Madelyn said, rolling over and smiling.

Nathan nodded. "Why? They too scared?" he teased. "Or do they miss their big sister? OR, are they spying on you?" Nate added jokingly. "Nah. They aren't that bad, are they?" he said, laying on his back and staring at the light on the ceiling.
