Oh my Lord, I LOVE Tolkien's work. I don't know how many times I've read The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion, etc. :D

The LOVE all the history in The Silmarillion. It's just facinating, seeing how deep his world really is....it's just so much MORE than what the movies portray.

Not that the movies aren't good. I love the extended versions (I actually can't watch the normal versions because I've seen the extended ones too much lol). It's just so cool to see where Sauron comes from along with the spider from the third and the fact that Sauron is NOTHING compared to the original evil....

I'm reading all of Tolkien's works again now :D
"But Link, when all of this is over...will you come wake me up?"

So I'm told. My dad is always giving me LotR history lessons and then when I ask a question he says "read the Silmarillion." that happens EVERY TIME, without fail...

My sister is the same way. She has almost read all of the books that J.R.R. Tolkine has written.

I just finished watching the full length LotR symphony, which means I have been staring at an iPad screen for about an hour...
