the reason i am asking is because me and my friend were wondering which one people prefer, because mine is Emerald and hers is diamond XD

Well, I can't tell if you're talking about the gemstone, or Pokemon. Pokemon: Definately emerald! I grew up playing 3rd gen and I have a deep emotianal attachment to those games. Gemstone: Diamond, because they are really sparkly! ^-^

EDIT: Actually, if it's ANY stone at all, not just diamond or emerald, I would go for amythyst (cause it's purple) or opal (because of the RAINBOWZ!)
