OOC: What is going on? I need to know where to start.

Z'laria padded through the snow, her brightly colored fur standing out more than usual. She moved with a grace unmatched by any other, and her strong muscles rippled as she walked. Her wings shone with a gloss, her vibrant colors standing out against the black of her base coat. Her ears twitched, taking all sounds around her. There was a rodent, and a small flock of birds. The birds chattered, though it was silent other than that.

She flicked her tail. A breeze danced through her soft, luxirious coat, which was longer than usual. She looked around for the others, her striking green eyes wandering about the snow-lit forest.

The snow was light and fluffy now, fresh. She looked behind her, seeing as how her light steps made little impression on the soft layers. She grinned, showing her pearl-white fangs.

[Amethysts]

OOC: right now, Tallulah was injured. So Skull is trying to see if he can get the king alone even if it means endangering the whole tribe of leopards, again.

Z'laria

Z'laria knew somthing was wrong. She leaped into the air, spreading her large wings. She flapped, and she sprung into the sky. She soared, for a moment, then banked. She saw Skull, and pulled her wings into a dive. She shot down to the ground, spreading her wings fast. She landed gracefully next to him, and turned to look at Skull. "What's wrong?" she asked urgently. "Skull, what are you going to do? I can tell it's not something smart." she said. She positioned herself in fron of him.

Skull sat signing as she asked what was wrong, "I'm trying to figure out where the king is of the hyena tribe" he flickered his ear, "I'm most certain he's around there somewhere." he looked at his paws, which were on fire.. He didn't mind, but the scars left what was on his mind. He signed && blinked at Z'laria, "It's okay. I think your royalties knows what he's doing." he chuckled pressing a button which caused a loud knows alarming the base for no reason at all. yeah, he didn't know what he was doing.

OOC: Wait......so now there's not an Alpha female at the moment?

She narrowed her eyes. "I know it's not my place to tell you what to do," she said carefully, "but this isn't the time. They're expecting this, Skull. They want this, because they have the advantage." she took a deep breath. "Let it go for now, Skull. You can avenge her, but not yet. Not yet." she hoped that she was convincing him. He was going to make a mistake, one that would have major consequences.

He signed in sorrow. "You're right." he smiled looking at Z'laria brushing his fur against hers and moving away from the machine. He was a mean Alpha, but at times he could be sensitive. "I'll get my revenge for Tallulah another time or so.." he signed looking up at the sky as a snowflake landed on his nose. He watched as the birds flew around him && Z'laria. Usually they don't do that, since they are life feathers.. Which meant something was meant to happen.

OOC: Yes. Tallulah is 3 years old, she's a sub-leader.

She sighed in relief. "We can start planning soon. And, Skull? I'm sorry." She looked at him with eyes full of understanding, and sorrow. "They'll pay." She saw the birds flying around them as well, and gave a small frown. "Something's going to happen. We should find the others." She twitched her ears. Something wasn't quite right. There was a......wrongness about the birds, no matter that theye were Life Feathers. She glanced around warily, and she felt her claws start to come out.

Skull just sat there as his eyes danced from one bird to another. He liked how the birds would fly around for no reason.. Since they knew everything about them && the hyenas. He digged in his claws into the snow laying his tail on the snow behind him. He didn't notice anything strange but Z'laria becoming a bit nervous. "Are you alright?" he asked smirking.

She glanced at him, then back at the birds. "You don't feel it?" she asked. "There's something......not right." She flicked her tail. Her eyes narrowed a bit, and her eyes widened as she looked into the trees in the distance. "Skull," she hissed quietly, "over there." she made a small gesture to the forest beyond, where she saw a flash of something silver. Then brown.

"What?" he asked while flashing a look at the forest, "I see nothing.." he got up and walked slowly closer to the forest, "I smell nothing or even feel nothing." he sat in front of the tree listening closely.
