Silversnow nodded respectfully. "Yes, Jaystar," she replied, then turned to look at her companions. She gave a small laugh; this was going to be a nice trip.

Leafdapple walked over to stand beside Silversnow. "We better get some sleep," she mewed, rubbing her eye with a paw. "It's going to be a long journey tomorrow, and those traveling herbs don't taste good!"

Adderwhisker purred as he walked by. "You got that right. Sometimes she'll put some honey on 'em, but even that doesn't mask it," he chuckled.

Leafdapple flicked his shoulder teasingly. "Well, I guess they're good for us. But if poor little Adderwhisker can't handle the taste, I guess we'll have to go without him..." She purred. (Let's give Briarstep something to be a bit jealous about, shall we? xD)

Silversnow gave a small laugh of amusement, her tail waving comfortably. "Rest does sound nice," she said. "I'm not looking forward to the herbs either," she agreed, her tongue sticking out slightly. She motioned towards the warriors den before slowly and gracefully padding off towards it.

Jaystar's ocean-coloured eyes flickered to Silversnow. He padded over to her. "I just wanted to wish you luck for the journey tomorrow," he mewed. "And may StarClan always be with you."

Silversnow looked at him with her own blue eyes and bowed her head. "We will return safely, I'll watch them carefully," she said, knowing he worried about the possible hostility of the other group of cats.

Jaystar was silent for a second before he dipped his head. "Thank you. I would go myself, but Sparrowthorn hasn't fully recovered yet and I can't leave my Clan..." he gazed wistfully into the hills. He hesitated for a second as if he wasn't sure what to do, but he gave Silversnow a small smile before climbing into his den.

Silversnow watched Jaystar leave with a small smile before she turned, padding her way again towards the warriors den. She slowly climbed into her nest and curled up, her tail resting over her nose and she closed her eyes, slowly drifting to sleep.

Jaystar settled himself into his nest, feeling agitated. He tried to fall asleep but his eyes wouldn't close. He desperately reached into the dark realms of sleep, but failed. He finally lifted himself to his feet and shook the moss out of his fur. His eyes gleamed brightly in the night as he silently exited his den. Feeling hopelessly lonely, he climbed his way up the large oak tree until he was at the highest branch. The stars glittered coldly at him. No sign of StarClan.
