As the bell chimed out inside the school, Escott stood up and slung his bag over his shoulder, shoving a hand in his pocket. He stood quietly and walked out of the class, heading for what he thought was his next, if he remembered right.

Shadow looked up and blinked his tired eyes. He got up slowly and made his way towards the door.

I followed Escott out, then noticed Shadow. "Hey!" I said brightly, walking over to him.
