I think taxidermy is an amazing craft when done right. Society has taught us that death is disgusting and horrible...why?
There is beauty and grace in both death and life.
I love taxidermy ^^

i'm okay with taxidermy if the wolf, fox, or coyote is already dead. i do not support killing something just for it's fur.

i'm okay with it if you eat it, but who's gonna eat a wolf, fox, or coyote? so i don't think we should kill them because they are pretty

Yea...that's kinda gross to me...and it's pretty sad too. I really wouldn't like to be carried artound like a stuffed animal or be made into a rug when i die...

Animals do not share our beliefs or religion, nor do they give any conscious thought to what happens after they die.
It isn't cruel, if that is what you think. You do realize many of the pelts/carcasses that
taxidermists use are retrieved from the side of the road, flattened messes?
Some pelts
are the product of hunting.
However, that is NOT equal to poaching. Endangered animals are illegal to make into taxidermy.

I concur with this.
Taxidermy is a celebration of life, not a funeral. Animals do not care what happens to them after they die. It doesn't even cross their minds. Basically, there is no need to feel pity that an animal has been turned into a piece of taxidermy because the animal itself does not care. Their goal is to pass on their genes, not to avoid being turned into a statue.

Um, not to be rude, but does anyone have an answer to this?

Red wolves live in small packs. :3
