"Really? You think so? I was worried I was focusing too much on hunting, and..." she trailed off. The brown tabby licked her mate's cheek in return. "But how's Brindlepaw doing? She looks good, but she's been... quiet." There was no other word to describe Brambletails apprentice.

In short, Echostorm doesn't live down to her looks. When teased about her size, she is not afraid to leave a scar or two. But that's only if you're on her bad side. When she likes you, she changes completly. She can be hilarious at times, sarcastic to the bone at another. If she truly does care care about you, she will try and hide it. Though you can always be sure that when you need her, she'll be by your side in seconds. She is terrified of falling in love, as she's been hurt before. Like I said before, she can be one to mask her feelings and usually ends up doing more harm than good. She's not great at hunting, but still tries her best.

Jaypaw is... sweet. That's the best way to describe her! She is very shy with cats she doesn't know well, and scared of messing up. If she knows and likes you, she's bubbly and hyper. She is actually quite good at fighting, though she hates to actually use it.

I looked around, feeling lost for a second. Then i realized i was in the forest. I flicked my ears.

Brambletail smiled. "Quiet, as always," he said with a smile. "Her hunting is really improving, though. Enough about apprentices. How are you doing?" he asked.

"I'm doing okay. I get lonely sometimes. Mostly everybody's been too busy to talk with, aside from Whitewater and some of the apprentices." She sighed wistfully. "I'm going to be moving to the nursery soon. I think my quarter moon is almost up." She added brightly.

Whitewater put her paws on Forestheart's stomach, feeling around gently. "There's two of them," she mewed. "And from their size, I'd say you could maybe have a quarter moon of traingin left, but absolutely no longer. The kits aren't far off." She smiled.

Echostorm sighed and layed down in a sunny spot, the tip of her tail overing her nose. Her paws itched to do something useful, but she was horrible at hunting.

Jaypaw batted at a leaf happily, a giggle escaping her mouth. She felt like a kit again, though she knew she would have duties to preform soon.

Brambletail frowned. "If you're lonely, just let me know. I'll come talk to you, walk with you, whatever you want." He rubbed his chin on her head.

"I know. But I don't want to distract you from your deputy duties." the tabby she-cat answered honestly. She looked at Echostorm then at the camp entrance, wondering what Falconpaw had caught.

Falconpaw continued his way through the forest, his ears erect. Excluding the usual rustle of leaves or chirp of a bird, but all else was silent. It was a calming silent. He opened his mouth slightly, aware that he was supposed to be hunting, not taking a stroll through the forest.

"Oh, all I do is organize patrols and talk," joked Brambletail. "I'd rather spend time with you than talk about who's going on the sun-down hunting patrol."
