"The kuchiki clan has always been in charge of the sixth district." Byakuya replied simply but a thought now came to mind. He was the head of the kuchiki clan yet he had no kids, so who was suppost to take care of his clan when he passed on? He shook his head slightly and pushed the thought away as quickly as it came.

Renji tilted his head when he saw byakuya shake his own. "Oh... I guess it sdoes make sense" he nodded. After a few minutes the waitress came out with their food. "will that be all?" she asked kindly to the two.

"Yes. Arigatou." Byakuya said before picking up his chopsticks.

The waitress nodded and quickly left.
Renji looked at his food and smiled. He ate one of his dumplings and made a 'mmm' sound.

Byakuya chuckled softly but he continued to eat, sipping his tea every so often.

Renji swalled the bit of his burger he had been eating before he asked "So how is rukia, sir?"

"She's fine. I get reports of her progress in the living world from captian ukitake every week." Byakuya replied as he ate.

Renji nodded and continued to eat

Byakuya continued to eat as well. He stopped when the constant thought of what was going to happen to his clan if he couldn't get an eir. He loved renji, he really did, but his mind was still constantly pushed to his clans needs.

Renji finished eating and sighed of content.
