Correction(or misunderstanding X3)

The eggs are only available in Creative but you can still use them in any game type from what I know of. You just have to spawn them in if you want the eggs in any other game type. I personally like the Superflat world the best. It allows un-limited building at any height and you can also do FlatWorld survival where if you're lucky enough then you can get to the nether and many other things, just on survival flatworld.

If your playing on survival in flatworld, it will be hard because 1. You are near the void so there is NO chance of getting recources, 2. There are no trees, 3. Slimes are everywhere because it's at bedrock level, 4. You can't get to the nether because there is no water or lava, 5. No tools to make to defeat mobs and mine or craft because you are near the void. 6. You can die in the void. XD that's all the problems of surviving near the void. *bow* lolz

OH MY GOD I FINISHED MINECRAFT! I used my enderpearls to locate a stronghold, then when the enderpearl sunk to the ground, that means a portal is nearby. I followed the pearl while diggy diggy holing, then I found a portal. I put ender pearls on the portal then it took me to the end world. I dug up to the surface, then I quickly flew (I was on creative) to each healing tower and exploded the ender crystals. Then I finished the enderdragon off. It dropped an egg, the egg is pretty useless because ender dragon eggs do not hatch. So I went to the portal and it showed credits. Then it took me back to my spawn point.

I used to be the number one Chocobo breeder on an official FF site called
FF7: Chocobo Breeders World Wide (or CBWW for short) but they have sadly enough, closed the site
(I stayed as number 1 in around 4 years, with around 60 mil users on the site so I'm actually kind of proud over it xD)

It will be hard but it is possible.

By spawning near an npc village you have a chance of finding a blacksmiths and in the room there is a chest and it is possible of getting saplings, iron(to make a bucket) and obsidian.

Making a bucket out of the iron and then picking up the lava, placing it beside the water in the crops, you can make a cobblestone generator. Thus you can have stone tools.

Using the sapling, you can get wood(obviously) and apples.

Using the obsidian(at least 10 pieces), you can make a portal to the nether. You can get flint from the gravel paths and if you have left over iron then you can make flint and steel. If you don't have iron then you can burn a piece of wood beside the portal, by placing wood beside lava.

There is bedrock under the dirt so unless you are in creative then there is no way to fall into the void unless the world doesn't generate properly o.o
