Jup. It is very true. The shima long tail and the mutant staff go for several 09 rares, while the rest are also beginning to be worth more, i've had people pay me early 09 rares/2 mid 09 rares for the ones you are looking for. Don't forget that staff dogs are very wanted, and very popular. Some more then others.

The zebra is actually a tad more rare then the lionness is so you can easily get a rare dog for both of them.
