Echosong looked about to burst with joy. Her apprentice! "Come on! I've got alot to show you! Do yo know some of the herbs yet? It's okay if you don't"

Duskfur padded over to Jaypaw. He touched noises with him. "Where do you want to go first?"

" Can I go look at the herbs and learn what they do now?" Jaypaw squeaked.

" I think I'm going to go hunt now. Bye everycat! I'll make shure to bring some for the elders." Gorsetail said as he padded out of the camp.

Featherstar made sure that none of the cats were watching and slipped off towards the meeting Island. She was unaware that someone was wathcing her go.

Silverheart slipped through bushes and was careful not to be seen.

Echosong purred at her apprentice's enthuseazum. "Not yet. You shouldn't learn everything in one day. But I will show you everything! Follow me!" She padded to her den and then said, "wait, let's get your nest sorted out." She grabbed a heap of moss and bracken and feathers and reeds and made a nice nest for him. "If you want, you can finish it later, but rigght now I am going to show you how to treat an ingured cat with a small cut." At that time Duskfur padded in.(Before he padded in he said to Fawnleap and Jaypaw, "wait here! i have to go get something for a scratch that a nastey thorn did!") "Hey guys. I got a scatch by a thorn and no it itches." then E#chosong said, "Okay! You came in perfect timeing, I was about to show Hawkpaw how to treat a cut!" then to Hawkpaw she added, "I keep some cobwebs over in that corner. Could you get some?" With that she padded over to her herbs to get some marigold.

(Hey, umm, you got Hawkpaw and Jaypaw mixed up.)

Featherstar padded across the fallen tree. She spotted Larkthroat and bounded over to him.

" I got the cobwebs Echosong, What should I do with them?" Hawkpaw questioned.

With her mouth full of marigold, she padded over. She put the marigold on the ground. "First, we'll make a marigold mixture and put it on. Then, we'll put some bobwebs over it to stop and other bleeding and to keep the marigold from falling off. Now, watch me as I make a marigold paste." She chewed up half the marigold really fineley untill it was a thick paste. "Now, you try with the other half! Oh yeah, and you can put the cobwebs down for a minute."

"Featherstar! It has been forever! How are our kits doing? How are you doing?" Larkthroat said.

((Hey do you want Featherstar to have more kits? And i'll bring out silverheat in a minute.))

" Like this?" Hawkpaw asked once he had chewed the marigold leaves into a paste.

Gorsetail caught a rabbit and two squirrels before coming back to camp. " Hesh eferybody, Ish caughs thome food!" He called with his mouth full of rabbit and squirel.[/color]

"Larkthroat purred back. "I missed you too." The he stood back. "Is there something you aren't telling me?"

"Yes! Perfect! No before we put that on, we have to lick the scratch clean. I'll do it this time. Watch me so next time you'll know what to do." She gentally licked Duskfur's scratch clean. "Now, I will put my marigold on and you watch and then you can do the same." She took the marigold paste she chewed in her paw and put it on half of Duskfur's cut. She was careful to make sure to juices seeped into the deepest parts as well as the rest. "Now you try!"

" What i the game?" Jaypaw asked.

Hawkpaw nodded and put the paste on the rest of the cut, spreading it evenly. He then looked at Echosong for what to do next.

" I think you can geuss love." Featherstar said.
