Ah, but there are many other universes to be devoured, and while the earth may die if the water is gone, there are many other earths where the water is still there. Yet if we were to try to save the earth, Eggs does possess a rather main quality which comes in handy; the power of replication. If he were even to take a mouthful of water from another universe, he could replicate enough to fill several universes without need for a break; he is unique in that aspect. So, you see, he really is a spectacular being, and should be, as I taught him myself.
