And, if wolves leave the extras for scavengers, that's technically not for their survival, and they probably have no intention of feeding scavengers.

That's not true at all. Only about 1/5 of hunter kill to provide for their family, the rest is for sport. Humans font do the same thing, as they mount their catch on walls and waste good meat. That's not the sane. Wolves do it for survival, we do it for fun.

Not if they mount heads. Don't get me wrong, I'm find with hunting If you use the whole body, put it to a cause. Not showing off a deer head staring sightlessly at you from a wall. That's a waste of good meat and life.

What are you talking about? The meat has nothing to do with taxidermy.
They take the meat out and place the fur over a mount.
The meat is used and eaten.

I don't find taxidermy creepy at all, I see it as art and own some myself, although not much.

Yeah XD i think taxadermy is awesome, but if you didnt take out the meat...ugh it would rot and the fur would be ruined.

Glad you see my point as I see yours. . And one of my friends, actually has fox and geese stuffed. Whole ones. It's scary, but even more so, because they position the animals the way they were shot! Like the fox had it's head in a tree, and the geese sitting on fake water. Made me wanna cry.


So yeah, I can see how it's art, but still. Creepy. I don't want a deceased deer/fox/etc staring at me while I'm sleeping.
