Embrace the life you have. Do not regret the life you don't
Life is the only thing created broken. But not "broken" as in, non-repairable. "Broken" as in, it needs to be fixed.
As you progress though your life, it is your duty to find those missing pieces that ultimately fix your brokenness.
Some are never able to find those pieces, due to the fact that they feel as if they need no repair. That being their biggest fault. Because if you think that you don't need anything, you've obviously given up the search.
Lives are like a puzzle. You can find the pieces. Some come rather easily. But, occasionally, you may lose a piece. And it may just be one piece, but think of it this way. When it comes to puzzles, not one piece will ever fit the same slot again.
he biggest revelation is made before death, when you look back and realize that although you tried to the best of your ability to change things. Other than names and faces. Nothing has really changed. The world will spin, and you'll eventually get knocked off. People will kill, people will die, and somebody will step up to stop the madness. If they can do it, it's only a short-lived victory. Because it's only a matter of time before the next one comes along. And for those past saviors, and revolutionaries.... "Time" is what they cannot keep up with..
I would much rather live one day at a time, than have a full, planned out life, with no time for actually living in it.
Having your own opinion may make you different, but it doesn't make you wrong. What makes you wrong is being the same, and only having the same opinion as everybody else.
The phrase "All the time in the world" is absolutely inaccurate. Because sometimes, something happens that no one was expecting. And all of that "time" that you claimed to have... Is gone.
Being the best is not about being better than everybody else. It is about knowing so much, that you can make everyone else better than they already are. And that's how you become a leader.
Whether it be direct, or indirect. It can still have the same effect on someone, or something.
Wanting a "happy ending" all depends on where you end the story.
The past can not be changed. The future can not be prevented. So, there's the present. There to help you move on from the past, and to make the future worth living in.
Knowledge is not about knowing everything. It is about using what you know, to do anything.
While here I thought that I was learning how to live. It turns out, I have been learning how to die.
Some ideas are terrible, others are great. But in my life, they all seem to be equally both.
The easiest way to find something, is to not look for it. Because if it is worth having. It shall find you.
When you look at another person and you think to yourself "I wish that could be me." Don't feel jealous. They probably thought the same thing about you.
Think with your mind before you feel with emotions.
It's next to impossible to learn from your mistakes, if you do not stop denying them.
Sometimes, your problems are not meant to be answered. They are meant to test you, only to see how you deal with them.
I really don't know who made these, I found them on Ezio Auditore da Firenze's Facebook page.
