Albino Plainrunner

Postby buttercat, » Mon Dec 19, 2011 3:12 pm

This is the second adoptable Plainrunner. Yes, he's an albino.
Please read through the Plainrunner Guide before adopting.

Name: --
Age: 5 years (Young adult)
Rarity: Extremely rare

To adopt him, you need to describe what he does every day, just before sunset, and what you'd like to name him. The person comes up with the most creative daily tradition for him wins.

Name:
Zuma

Everyday Schedule:
Every morning as the sun rises Zuma comes out of his den nestled under two large rocks. Zuma will first go to the water hole and take a drink before he goes toward the hills to hunt. He finds a small cave beside a well traveled animal pat, and waits. Usaully he waits till the sun is nearly fully up in the sky for animals to try, and seek shade in the hills. As the herds of zebra, antelope, and sometimes the odd wildebeest go by he picks the weakest one, and launchs himself onto them. If Zuma is unsucceseful in his hunt he'll go to the nearest meerkat mound, and catch the usaul 5 meerkats to satisfy his hunger. He returns to the water hole to take a long drink. Then he goes back to his rocks to rest. Once he wakes up he'll catch 2 mongooses, and roast them on a rock using the sun. He'll only do this for a couple minutes before eating the warm mongoose's. Zuma will go back near the watering hole to his own private small watering hole that he hides beneath a rock. He'll move the rock, and wash the blood off himself. After he puts the rock back in place he'll go to the tall grass to grab a mouthful of grass. He'll place the new grass right outside his burrow as he removes the old grass. Then he places the new grass neatly in his burrow. He'll watch as the sunsets right outside his burrow before going inside to sleep for the night.

Name: Bielak - "Albino" in Polish

Daily life: Bielak rises at morning, The den, made of rock, holding in the previous day's eat. The sky is light, pink and gray. His fur is rough and bristled, he shakes it out to smooth it. His stomach growls, violently, forcing him to wake up. The albino's stomach is bigger and requires more food. Bielak hops down from his high lair, an open-mouthed cave, over looking the grassy plain before him. He yawns, his long tail flicking backwards. As he walks down the face of the hill, he sees a meerkat mob. Licking his lips, he pounces down the grass, his prey in front of him. Quickly after biting into the fleshy neck, he rises, seeing the others scatter. Devouring, he looks at the empty bones in front of him. He arranges them into a letter, the letter "B" to be exact. He looks around, red eyes darting over the horizon, the sun begins to rise. He cleans up another three meerkat, and makes the "B's." In mid-day, he finds the sacred water spring, in the thick oasis behind his home. Sipping the thin liquid, he eyes other male Plainrunners, pleased, they welcome him to the Bachelor Band of the day. They accept him, enjoying his company. He runs around with them, searching for females, ending up mateless. Later, just before noon, he pads off to the gazelle plains. He blends in with the chalkier sand, his red eyes peering over the land-line. He charges after them, finding the weakest one. The poor prey was no match for him. As he eats, he spots a set of colorful wings. She gazes at him longingly, and Bielak snorts, tail swinging. He leaves her be, in hopes the next day he'd find her, when he was not tired. Exhausted, he would climb to the top of his hill, gaze over the land, surveying the day. He'd bring a few desert birds, to save time the next morning. After finishing off watching the light dim, he'd flop down into his den, nestling into the furs, skins, and grasses he collected. And he would dream of what the next day would bring him. Bielak dances in dreams of vivid colors, with his snowy albino pelt.

Name: Casper Alpine (Standing for tall like an alpine and white like casper the ghost)

Daily Routine
Casper is an early riser. He gets up before the sun rises and watches the sun rise into the sky. Once it is past the mountains he leaves his tree den hidden in the forest and goes to a meadow with soft grass and listens to the birds for a while. After that he heads over to where the meerkat's get water and takes down a few. And after every one he kills he says he is sorry for killing the meerkat but it's the way of life and the meerkat will be repaid for helping him live. After he buries the remains of his prey he goes into the forest and collects berries for painting. He paints for a little in his tree den, things such as flowers and trees. After that he goes to a small pond and washes up for his daily search for a mate. He goes into a small meadow with shorter grass and watches for one to pass by. After a few hours none come by so he leaves and goes back into the forest to catch some robins for lunch. He climbs into the trees with low hanging branches and catches four robins today. He takes them back to his den and puts them toward the back of the den concealing them from other predators. He heads to the rocks that stick up by the watering hole and enjoys the last few hours of sun light before sunset. He heads back to his den for the sunset and watches it in a tree until the sun goes down and then heads in for the night to get a good nights sleep with dreams of mongooses and robins.

I hope it's not too late to enter; he is so beautiful!
I would name him Chloë witch means young, energetic and playful in Greek.
Daily life;
Chloë opens his red eyes slowly, the promise of sleep lurring him back into his pleasant dreams. When the sunlight reached its sneaky fingers into his den and toutched the tips of his paws, he yawned and stretched out in his small home. Chloë crawled slowly out of his dark den to face the bright, briliant, and beautiful world. He wondered what the day had in store for him. First of all, he needed food to fuel his fasting body. With a contented sigh, Chloë began his daily run, a route that he had taken since his father showed him what it was to hunt. When, finally, he reached his destination at the top of a huge cliff. He looked out across the plains, soaking in the promising trill of his hunt to come. When his eyes caught a tiny movement, he bolted, faster than lighting down the cliff. he spent hour after countless hour hunting, scavenging, and even doing alittle fishing, it was only then that he looked into the sky. the sun had begun to set, shading the sky brilliant pinks and purples and golds. Chloë ran as fast as he could, letting out the energy that the wonderful day had given him. when he came across the clearing he slowed to a stop. This was the clearing where his parents had been killed by hunters. As he did every night just as the sun was setting, Chloë layed down on his back and looked up into the sky. "Thank you," he wispered aloud. "Thank you for the grass and for the trees, thank you for color and for love. Thank you for laughter and joy. Thank you for letting me live and helping me survive... Thank you for life," Chloë closed his eyes and smiled at the sweet memories of his parents.
