He turned his head a little as he felt the red wolf’s eyes boring into him like small needles of ice shooting at him. Okay so her actual expressions were quite amusing. She looked like she was about to jump up and rip away at his maw. Which was a surprise. A sense of irony? And yet

Skullduggery had smelled it too. He crouched low and moved towards it; he had found the strong end. A young girl, only looking to be about 12, sat there shivering in front of a pitiful excuse of a fire. A low rumble came from Skull's throat, his gold eyes harsh as he stared down the oblivious human.

Kavi crept up behind Skull, she peeked over his shoulder, staying far enough away that the human couldn't get her. Even if it was a small human, she didn't want any more humans near her. None. Zero. She was immediately glad Skull was there, if she had found the human herself, she probably would have panicked and turned a blade of grass into a huge rainbow blade of grass or something. Instead, she just timidly stared.
