Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: Because I am said to be a really friendly person and I would love to help others out. I send trades to new players to help out with them getting started.

You've been a member for how long: I've been coming around here since August of 2008. However, I joined in September of '08.
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: I am on about three/four hours a day, unless I have a large amount of homework or need to help out around home.
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yes, I do.
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes. I'm a very patient person.
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I would like to share my knowledge with newer members, as well as prevent them from being scammed out of their pets. I would also like to give newbies a better reputation; I find it terrible that all new members are viewed as "unsmart" about the website.
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: I have been an Administrator on a website with around 1,000 members. I no longer participate there; however, the website had over 1,000 members for most of my time there (http://www.webkinzcoast.com). I have also been a Moderator and Administrator on many smaller websites. However, nearly all of them are closed/deleted at this point.
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?:Actually, I think it's a very cute name. ^^;

*pokes head in* I'm sorry if I'm out of place, but I'd just like to remind everyone that if you have less than 10 posts, joined less than a month ago, or generally have a bad forum attitude, you are probably NOT a good candidate for this job ._. This job will require a lot of time, patience, and cheerful...ness (all of which I lack, therefore I'm not applying XD), and you'll need to keep said qualities indefinitely.

How old are you?: I am 18 years old

You've been a member for how long: I've actually been a member since October 2008, but registered in a new account in August 2009 for personal reasons.

How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: I will normally spend 5-8 hours on CS, possibly around 14 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Of course, I'm in the Central Time in the US.

Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: In my opinion, I feel like I do in my experience.

Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: I will not lie, as there will be a point in which I might snap, but if it's from different persons then there's a 99% chance I will not. I normally will not bring my outside moods from IRL into the 'net world' persay.

Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I feel like I could be a lot more beneficial to the CS society this way as I do have experience in answering common questions, questions about art, and so forth.

Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: The only forum that I mod that is up to date is Shima's AdoptSomeCreativity. I'm an active member there and mainly patrol the Art forum and take a gander at the topics around the general forum as well.

I spend a lot of my time here on ChickenSmoothie, usually 3-4+ hours a day; depends on the amount of homework I have.

Yes, I believe I do. I am always on the Forums, so I know my way around pretty well.

Well, I'm really unsure how to answer this; to me, there are no stupid questions, but I absolutley have the patience to clarify a topic multiple times!


Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?:
I really want to be a 'Newbie-Helper' because I know how it feels to have nobody to post a reply to any posts of yours. I don't believe I got any replies to my Introduction, yet others have a few pages of replies. This applies to other forums, too, of course. Nobody likes to be left out, and I'll do everything I can to prevent people from feeling like that. There is also other issues, such as flaming, etc., that I'd love to help to put a stop to.

Sadly, no. That's probably because when I'm on the computer, I'm on ChickenSmoothie, unless doing a report for school.

Hmm... Maybe 'The FAQ Team', or 'Welcoming Committee', 'Question Committee', 'Newbie Assistants', etc.

Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I believe that helping new members now will prevent them from becoming trolls or cheaters in the future. Early prevention and help is a must; as-is they have to learn on their own and this leaves many of them unable to full enjoy the site.

How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: I'm home-schooled, and I have this place bookmarked, so a lot!

Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes, I do. ^.^ I work at a toy store (Even though I'm extremely young for it), and deal with that all the time. ^.^
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I want to help as many people as I can, not just new, but old (If I can). I remember what I was like on my first time here. I was clueless. I want to help others be clueless less. ^.^ Even if I dont earn the title, I will help the newbies as much as I can.
