How old are you? (this question is optional):13
You've been a member for how long: About a year
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: Well, I'm on almost 24/7 because I'm homeschooled.
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Definetley, I am one of the helpers at my church in the four to six year old sections. That is something to test your patience XD
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Of course, like I said above, I worked in the four to six year old sections.
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: So that I can guide people through the site, and they could hopefully help the new users like we have helped them.
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: No
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: I seriously can't think of something catchy XD

How old are you? (this question is optional): 13
You've been a member for how long: Over a year: November 30, 2008
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: 4-6 hours a day on weekdays unless I've homework(math takes a while) From around 3:00pm to 9:00pm, and on weekend about... From the time I get up at around 7:30am to 9:30pm-ish...If I've errands to run, I'll be gone at most 2 hours.
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yurp! I'm almost an expert on BBCoding, HTML, signatures, pets, etcetera. I spend lots of time trying to figure this out just for the purpose of helping people(and me, lol)
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes. I am extremely patient!
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I was a newbie once, and i know how confusing some things can be. I love to give advice and help out. I felt a little out of place, and had no one really to help me. But if I was a NH, I would make new user's first experiences on here fun and happy so they want to be on here for a long time.
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: i hope to get this topic started, where i'm one of the mods: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=100470&p=2662432#p2662432

I'd love to help the newbies ^^

How old are you? (this question is optional): I'd rather not say... (internet safety and all)
You've been a member for how long: lets see...I joined April last year, so about 8 months?
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: lol, i sign every day and stay for about an hour. on weekends I'm usually on for about four hours.
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: I believe so.
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes. I have a little sibling that requires much patience to teach x3
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I like helping the newbies and making sure they don't accidently mess up and get yelled at. Being a newb is scary and often times they just need a little help.
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: no...
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: no, sorry I'm not too good at making up creative names >-<

Trying to get back into roleplaying, haven't done it for a while. I like roleplaying wolves but they have to be realistic so no alpha beta delta and especially no healer ranks. I like big cats, horses, cats. I like roleplaying warrior cats. I don't play a lot with human characters unless they're shapeshifters or dragon riders.

So if you have a roleplay that needs more members send me a PM.

How old are you? (this question is optional):
18

You've been a member for how long:
Since Nov. 10, 2008, so as of Jan 28, it is around 1 year and 2 months.

How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?:
I honestly spend at least two hours minimum on CS a day, because I enjoy hanging out on the forums and looking at the different pets. Most days though, I get away with three-five hours, because I spend most of my time here when I'm online.

Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?:
Since I've been on CS, I've had some time to learn my way around the forums. I pretty much have links on speed-click, to places such as the fair trade thread, free adoptables, excetera. I've also had to explain a lot of things, so I do feel comfortable responding to a variety of different questions regarding everything CS related.

Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?:
Yes, I do. I try to explain things in the most simple, understandable way to everyone that asks and once different people asked me the same thing ten times in a day. XD Its actually kind of funny and I take it with good humor.
Also,, I've dealt with younger people a lot in my real life, so I'm kind of used to it.

Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?:
I want to be a newbie helper because when I first started CS, I felt awkward and out of place. Not that there weren't kind users to help me, but I was too shy to head to the forums and didn't know who to ask without being called a noob. Being new kind of had a stigma to it, and I was afraid. Instantly when I saw this place though, I loved the overall feel of Chicken Smoothie. Even if it was strange and new to me to be on a completely different site than what I was used to, I decided I was going to find my way around the site and navigation through trial and error. It took three months for me to figure everything out down to a T, and by then I became comfortable enough to join the community on the forums.
Still, I remember struggling with BBC coding, what adoption limits were, how to trade, and a bunch of other things. As a newbie helper, I would want to give others what I didn't have- a mentor to help walk them through the site and get them as addicted to it as me. Everyone could user a little help now and then. ^^
Also, I have had a lot of experience with new players- running the Agency in the 'share your creations' forum has brought me across all sorts of people, from the confused, the kind, the young, and to the ignorant. I've learned to deal with them all with patience and tolerance because of my experiences. A few of them even helped me perfect my chat-speak, so I can talk with the worst spellers out there, or just people who don't speak full English.
I'm non-confrontational, and help out wherever I can when people PM me, which tends to happen a lot since they have questions about the Agency all the time. I believe that the age of the account doesn't matter- we are all individuals, not just the amount of pets we have in our groups, and respect other members.

Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link:
Its not much, but I have had limited MOD and Admin experience on the forums I created, here. I know my way around PHB and skins, though I am still trying to decide on which particular look is best for a small signature-friendly adoptables site. ^^;

Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?:
Not really. I like that name the way it is. :D

Geez, what a lot of people wanting to help out! I'll apply if I'm needed.

How old are you?:
19
You've been a member for how long:
Erm...I remember adopting July 2008 pets, so...awhile.
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?:
More than I should!! Probably 7, an hour or so a day. I do have other things happening in my life, but I like to take my fun-time on CS.
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?:
I think so.
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?:
I'm a resident advisor in a dorm building, a drum major AND a big sister to 4 little brothers. You can't phase me. The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked.
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?:
I love order and I don't mind answering questions. If everyone knows what to do, things will run smoothly. I love it when things run smoothly.
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link:
Yes, plenty. I've owned my own forum, modded on a few others. The one I'm modding at currently is here. (Note to any clickers that the RP site in that link is 18+, but when not logged in you should be safe from anything that isn't kid-friendly.)
Do you have any suggestions for the team name?:
CS Guides? Forum Help? Actually, you could just make up a word. On Furcadia, the helpers are called 'Beekins'...?

How old are you? (this question is optional): 17
You've been a member for how long: Since Mid-November of '08
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: Quite a bit. At least a few hours each day.
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yes.
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes. :)
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I enjoy helping people, and I love Chicken Smoothie. When I came here, it was hard for me to figure some things out. I had a lot of questions, and I wish there would have been a "newbie helper" to help me out. I asked a few of the mods a lot of questions, but I hated bugging them, as I know how busy mods can be. I'd really like to help people find their way around the site, so that maybe they can get just as much enjoyment as I have out of CS. :3
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: Yes. Animal Acres and a Community site owned by the same owner as Animal Acres.
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: The Chicken Fleet? I'm sure someone else is more creative than I. ;D
