Roleplays featuring animals or non-human fantasy creatures which are based on a book/movie/tv show (e.g. Warrior Cats, My Little Pony, Pokemon)

After having a moment to compose herself, Firefly rose out of the floor, looking calm apart from her lashing tail.
Ariel's tail wagged as John nuzzled her, and quickly pecked him on the cheek, blushing under her fur.
Coincidence or not, the water fountain nearby started freaking out, and the spout was twirling around.
Oops.

~ Leopard / Jadyn / Syrena
The three siblings stopped at the edge of the field and Syrena handed them their football. She waved at them and they waved back before they headed out onto the lush grass, tossing the football back and forth, to and fro with agile movements. Syrena took a seat on the sidelines, watching them and occasionally calling out tips, advice and encouragement using her voice.
I'm collecting the 2020 Easter bunnies designed by Anouki. They're based on a
Japanese pottery technique where items are repaired by glueing the pieces back
together with a (typically) gold lacquer. It's called "kintsugi" and the idea behind
this is that broken things can still be beautiful, a mantra that has helped me cope
with the latest years of my depression. I've been saving up for a tattoo, to be my
first one, which will also be fashioned after kintsugi. That's why this design holds
a lot of sentimental value for me and, consequently, why I'm setting up a hoard
for them: to remind myself that even though I'm still struggling now, I will get
better. Please help me with this hoard. Thanks for reading. ~Love from Moony

(Wasn't John's brother named Jace, not Josh?)
Firefly's fur stood on end when she heard the locker crumble. She whirled around and hissed, "Any reason you needed to do that, dude?" When she was in a bad mood, her fur often got rubbed the wrong way by little things.
Ariel seemed to lose touch with reality for a moment. John's kissing me...John's kissing me...
And then one of her books flew up and smacked into the ceiling before falling down again.
Stupid powers.
(Ariel unleashes unintentional power when she feels strong emotions...which is why stuff tends to go flying when John is near...)

~ Leopard / Jadyn / Syrena
The two boys quickly perfected their techniques and they returned to the girl shortly afterwards. She beamed at them and they all highfived each other once again before leaving to head back to the school. Syrena, as if she had known of Star's presence the whole time, turned her head and looked right at Star. So did the boys, but a few seconds later, they were padding along again.

Firefly didn't hesitate to turn around and stalk the other way, twitching her glowing tailtip.
Ariel groaned. "Ack! I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." She stared at the book that had come crashing back to earth. At her old school, she'd been kissed once at a dance, and it was all over. The punch bowl had smashed itself into a high-strung popular dog, getting Ariel expelled, as the principal thought she'd purposely thrown it. Not long after that...Meteor had landed in the girl's locker room after a failed experiment with newfound powers and got himself expelled as well.
Needless to say, Ariel was used to having to apologize.

Ariel's powers didn't go haywire this time...she only made Firefly, who wasn't too far away, float three feet in the air without throwing her into a wall. Firefly was quite enjoying her weightlessness.
"I'm a bird!" she mewed, sounding like a kitten as she floated on her back, purring loudly.
Meteor walked out of his locker. Some students seemed startled to see him emerge from a locker he didn't walk into, but didn't say anything.
