Yes! That would be awesome.
One day I'm going to get a large darkly-colored dog and name him "Worf", from TNG series,
and then buy a medium-ish red-ish dog and name him "Kirk".

I will get a cat and name it after that weird witch lady from that one episode. And I'll get a huge GSD and name it Trellaine, from that episode with the wacky guy from the 1700s.

German Shepherd Dog. I should get a collie and name it Elaan of Troyius. Elaan for short.

Ah, I gotcha. I don't know what breeds I'll get, probably whatever they have from the shelter. :]
Elaan is such a pretty name! That would go well with a collie. Nice!

Precisely, but on the 2009 movie, it was an alternate universe, so in the real universe he might not have had that history.

By the way, I think a big chocolate poodle would be perfect for Uhura. (No racism intended)

(I did the same for Worf, none intended there either) And I agree! With a red collar= perfect.
Chekov would be, imo, a Russian Wolfhound. 'Cuz they're from Russia. The best place in the universe, apparently. xD
