Chaparral looked uncertainly as Dash began killing the deer. "Erm, isn't one enough?" she barked.

"We need to bring one to the Core!" Dash barked back.

Chaparral nodded, and helped her friend with the hunt.

Dash quickly killed it, making sure it was a quick and painless death. She let go of the fire and let the rest of the herd go. She smiled at Chaparral. "Good job."

Chaparral licked her fur and blushed. "Thanks... you did good too. Do you want to bring these deer back to Alana now? Or should we eat first?"

[Shiverice]

"We should bring them back. Alana will definitely let us eat first," Dash said proudly. She picked up part of a deer.

~Chaparral~

Chaparral nodded and followed her friend, the savory taste of red meat making her lick her lips.

When they arrived, Dash set down the deer, very tired.

Skystep walked up to the downed wolf. "Who are you?" she snarled.

"The name's Zenith," the black and white wolf replied slyly. "And there isn't much prey where I live, so I think I'll just have to help myself to some of yours."

"That was a good hunt," Chaparral barked. "Ugh, it's so lonesome here. No other wolves come around these days... Well, except for Outlaws. But really, no wolf likes them."
