Introduction
About this Role Play
This Role play is set in the present day world, mainly in the United States, and is based off of Rick Riordan’s book series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians and his sequel series, The Heroes of Olympus. It is recommended that you have read at least one of the books in either series or watched the movie to have basic knowledge of Riordan’s world. You can read below to get a brief summary or follow any of the links provided to get some information about how life is as a half god, half human.

In this RP, we will go according to the way Riordan has developed his world so far in Camp Half-Blood. You may be missing some information or there may be spoilers. Besides the immortal ones, the actual characters in the books and movie will not be used at all.

Quick Summary
For as long as you can remember, you’ve been an outcast. You don’t fit in at school, or even with your own family. Learning disabilities seem to follow you like the plague, and everybody you come into contact with either ends up hurt, missing or go crazy. Or worse, they could be after you.
Strange things do seem to happen quite often to you, and things just keep getting weirder when you discover a camp not far off from New York City. Whether you were led here by a family member, some strange creature, or you just found this place by yourself, Camp Half-Blood will change your life forever.

If you find yourself in Camp Half-Blood you are most definitely a being with mythological powers. Most likely, one of your parents is a god or goddess from the Greek or, possibly but not probably, Roman myths. Here you will learn to harness, use, and control your powers that have been passed on to you by your godly parent as well as train yourself in survival and warrior skills with your cabin mates. You may not think this will be useful, but when you have to save your best friend from the hands of a Minotaur you might reconsider. In this world where myths clash with the modern age, prepare to go on quests and become one of the greatest warriors of all time. Welcome to Camph Half-Blood, demi-god.

1. Write in complete sentences with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Do not use chat-speak in the post (In OOC it's fine).
2. Try to write at least one (or more) good paragraph(s) each post as this is semi-literate. I understand the occasional writer’s block or being too busy to post much, but I will notice if you only post one-liners.
3. When speaking Out of Character please use ((OOC)) or [OOC].
4. You will be polite at all times even if other people are not being polite. If I ask you to change something about your post please do not yell at me. If you think I am wrong, we can have a quiet discussion about it over PM.
5. There is no character limit as everybody knows how much they can handle, but try to keep genders and the number of people in each cabin as equal as possible.
6. Battles, drama and romance are encouraged but keep it PG-13.
7. If you would like to be anything besides a Greek demi-god, PM me with a good argument for why you think you should make a satyr, nymph, Roman demi-god, Hunter of Artemis etc. as an active character. We may be able figure out how to make it work, however make sure you are an active and/or a thorough RPer or I might be reluctant to say yes.
9. I or other designated people will RP any NPC characters such as Chiron when needed.
10. If you do not post for two weeks without letting me know why, I will assume you are dead and you will be removed from the RP.
11. You must be prepared to not always have your character win every battle. Though they cannot die unless you allow others to kill them, they may have to take some time to heal using nectar and ambrosia. As well, using powers makes demi-gods lose their energy, feeling tired and drained, so keep that in mind.
12. Break a rule (mine or CS’s) and you receive a strike. Three strikes and you are banned for a week. Three more strikes and you are permanently banned from this RP.

Weapon of Choice: Forbidden - A Stygian iron sword capable of only harming monsters/immortals. It has a ruby set in its black hilt and the word 'Forbidden' etched into the side in Greek - Απαγορευμένη. It is a silver ring with a ruby set into it on his right hand, middle finger.
Personality: Scourge's persona is very interesting for a son of Ares. He prefers to be around others, and acts much like a lost child at times. He has no real hints of being aggressive but is very independent and loyal. It is hard to set off his temper and get him to fight you for no real reason. Sometimes his personality will flip to wanting to be alone at times and shuts out most. He just really wants to find out who his family is/was and where he used live/was born.

History: Austin and his mom used to live pretty peacefully in Haiti. Even though he had never met his father they had left them living the good life for the part of town they lived in. He would often get chased up and down the streets by random dogs but they never went past the edge of their property. When the earthquake struck in 2009 his mom died in the building she worked at. Austin had been lucky enough to be wandering the streets an not end up near an overturned building. A guy from the red cross foundation helped him to find his way to Camp Half-Blood in America. He didn't know who he was and never saw him again after crossing the border.

She is 5'7 and weighs 135 pounds. Rain generally wears dresses or skirts with a variety of shirts.

Weapon of Choice: A yellow umbrella that dismantles into two pieces, a celestial bronze shield and a sword. She calls it Omprela, which is Greek for umbrella.
Personality: Rain is extremely cheerful and friendly. She can have a bit of a devilish side at times, but only when she is bored. She hates being alone, always craving for the company of others, and that can cause her to become loud and obnoxious if nobody is paying attention to her. Her brother is very protective over her and she resents him for stopping her from doing what she wants. This is the biggest factor to, what she calls her "wild side" and others call her "annoying side".
History: She lived with her father until the age of 11 when her brother took her away and brought her to Camp Half-Blood. It was there that she found out that they didn't have the same mother, they didn't even have human mothers. She was claimed about a year after she arrived at Camp Half-Blood.

Personality: Brody is on the quiet side but his dominant personality comes out when it is time to lead. He can be bossy at times, and his sister especially dislikes that of him. Even in his hasty absent-mindedness, he still has the time to spare a warm smile for those who need it. Secretly his biggest fear is that his sister will get herself hurt or want to leave him for their father and that often affects his actions.
History: He was always curious about why his younger sister was so strange in her appearance, especially the wings and constantly pestered his father with questions until he ran away from home at 12 years old. Soon after, a satyr led him to the camp where he was claimed, but he decided to go back for his sister once he knew the whole truth.

He has a scar on each ear, a scar under each eye, one scar over the side of is lip, and two scars over the top of his nose. He is a talented fighter with high stamina, but is terrible at running.

Personality: Levi is a total flirt. He'll flirt with almost anything with a pulse. You have to be careful with taking his flirts to heart because they almost always mean nothing to him. Lev can be very sarcastic sometimes. He always has a smart remark for every dumb question, too. If you make him mad, he is very aggressive and tends to start letting his rage out on something. Lev is mentally and physically strong. He is quick to react, but is slow in the mornings. Levi likes to ignore orders sometimes due to his stubbornness. He is outgoing and loves to party. Lev is very clever and always has a trick up his sleeve. Although others think he is irresponsible, he is actually really responsible and does everything he is instructed to do. One of Lev's ultimate weaknesses is his heart. If you get to his heart he is like putty in your hands

Personality: Oh, I love this character that I use her all the time now. Anna is every bit the aggressive person you would see on an Ares camper. She is very independent, loyal to her few friends, and very jerky (yesh, jerky is a word). She can be very rude and sarcasm is her best friend. She is very determined and believes no one can beat her in a fight. No one has ever seen her soft side, and it's only reserved for close friends. She puts up walls and shuts out everyone because the only friends she wants is the ones who care enough to tear them down. Only Chiron and Mr. D know her real name is Annabelle, and she hates it when people call her by it.

She is 5'7 and weighs 135 pounds. Rain generally wears dresses or skirts with a variety of shirts.

Weapon of Choice: A yellow umbrella that dismantles into two pieces, a celestial bronze shield and a sword. She calls it Omprela, which is Greek for umbrella.
Personality: Rain is extremely cheerful and friendly. She can have a bit of a devilish side at times, but only when she is bored. She hates being alone, always craving for the company of others, and that can cause her to become loud and obnoxious if nobody is paying attention to her. Her brother is very protective over her and she resents him for stopping her from doing what she wants. This is the biggest factor to, what she calls her "wild side" and others call her "annoying side".
History: She lived with her father until the age of 11 when her brother took her away and brought her to Camp Half-Blood. It was there that she found out that they didn't have the same mother, they didn't even have human mothers. She was claimed about a year after she arrived at Camp Half-Blood.

Personality: Brody is on the quiet side but his dominant personality comes out when it is time to lead. He can be bossy at times, and his sister especially dislikes that of him. Even in his hasty absent-mindedness, he still has the time to spare a warm smile for those who need it. Secretly his biggest fear is that his sister will get herself hurt or want to leave him for their father and that often affects his actions.
History: He was always curious about why his younger sister was so strange in her appearance, especially the wings and constantly pestered his father with questions until he ran away from home at 12 years old. Soon after, a satyr led him to the camp where he was claimed, but he decided to go back for his sister once he knew the whole truth.
