Forestheart spotted her apprentice sitting by a stump. She padded over to him. "Falconpaw, do you want to go out hunting?" She asked the small brown tom.

Falconpaw looked up at his mentor. "Sure." he said. He stood up and bounded towards to exit, into the forest.

Brambletail got up and stretched. He needed a walk, maybe a good hunt. He padded out into the forest and patroled the borders.

(( XD I didn't even know there was such a thing!!! o.O XD ))

Falconpaw bounded off into the forest and slowed his pace. He looked around, then walked over to a small beech tree. He clambered up the tree and then scooted down a branch. The brown tom spied a beech nut and skillfully reached out a paw and knocked it down. Then he waited, staring at the little nut and everything else around it. Soon enough, he saw a leaf move and a small gray head appeared. It scurried out of the cover of the leaf and began to bite and knaw at the nut's exterior. He bunched his muscles and then pushed himself off, landing just a few whiskers away from the mouse. He unsheathed his claws and snatched its tail, dragging the frightened creature back. He killed it with a swift nip to its spine.

Forestheart followed her apprentice, weaving silently through the undergrowth. She followed him to a beech tree and watched him, impressed by her apprentice's climbing skills. She crouched down in the ferns, watching.

Brambletail scented Forestheart, but didn't approach her. He knew she was training her apprentice. He continued on, catching a mouse on the way.

Forestheart emerged from the ferns and walked over to Falconpaw. "Im impressed. You can bring that back to camp, or you can continue hunting." she offered, looking at the small brown tabby.

Falconpaw jumped when he heard his mentors voice. "I'd like to keep hunting, but are you sure? I mean, you really trust me to go hunt on my own?" he asked, surprised. But when he looked into her eyes, he knew that Forestheart trusted him. Falconpaw nodded and buried the mouse by one of the roots, then padded into the forest.

[Shezza.]

Brindlepaw
I sighed, and crawled out into the forest, taking in the deep scent of all the different plants. I smiled.

Forestheart nodded back and made her way back to camp. She began to worry about the kits she was carrying, and what would happen if she kitted wrong, or.. Forestheart shook her head and continued her way to camp.

[Shezza.]

Brindlepaw
I whipped around, lost in my own world for a second. I began to feel so lost.

Brambletail returned to camp, two mice in his jaws. He dropped them on the pile and spotted Forestheart. He purred. "I saw you and Falconpaw today," he said, rubbing his cheek to hers. "He's doing really great."
