Hey everyone, I heard this was the place to go if you're looking for helpful critique, and I could definitely use that. :D I've been working on this silly little lineart for a Usermade Adoptables thing, and it's finally coming along. Now I'm just looking for some critique on what I could do better with it shading/lighting wise.

Here is the little blurb.

It started out as a non-tag coloring, and then somehow got itself some little wings. xD I dunno. Anyway, if anyone has any comments they'd greatly be appreciated, I'm trying to decide if I should open up something with this. I don't want to go to all that trouble (RL's really hectic Dx) and then nothing come of it, if you know what I mean. :D

Oh gawd that is adorable. I think cause it's more of a round shape, you could have alot more fun with shading. Where is your source of light coming from?

I enjoy photography, especially of animals, here are some pictures I have taken, they aren't the best quality, I took them on my iPod

And that looks like pretty good quality for an iPod picture.


Here is something that I just started working on about two hours ago. It's sort of an anti-SOPA thing, picturing the internet in the form of a dragon, as one entity.



Not near done-- still need to add more things and clean up lines, then onto colour and shade town-- but a lot here so far. Feel free to find the logos and objects already pictured. x)

Thank you guys <3 Marmoset, when I shaded it I was thinking of the light source as being above its right ear, sort of? The lighting up there is weird, though, I need to fix that.

And I love that beautiful sky picture, you have a real photographer's eye. ^^

I don't think people understand the extreme of Sopa or Pipa. Chicken smoothie NOT be affected is hopeful, but shouldn't be expected. As much as chickensmoothie encourages anti theft attitude. This just doesn't include theft of copy righted material per-say. You won't be able to draw that pokemon sona any longer, etc. Is your signature 100% yours? If not that is infringement too. There are many examples like this that can also be considered infringement, like linking to amvs with anime or Disney movies, songs you like, etc. Products. And Pipa is worse than Sopa.

Point is, even sites as abiding as chickensmothie can be found at fault for something.

@Susiron: I think that's an awesome dragon; for some reason I thought I saw a fish for babblefish. X3

@Babbles: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=858451 I'm pretty sure they're wolf like. Also there should be a sag in the lips most likely if they're going to have saber teeth.
I've been trying to find a good example, but my best explanation is the teeth so close to the lips it tends to sag just a little because of the indention in the jaw. Though I suppose that's optional since it's also a big cat trait of tigers.
