Renji came back, having finished delivering his papers and headed to his office, but stalled as he heard talking a few feet away. Renji hid behind a corner, listening.

"Why do you think byakuya isn't back yet?" "Maybe taichou and fukutaichou spent the night together because of his injuries." "But what if it was more then that thought? What if the two, ya' know. Spent some time alone in a futon." "Then who would have been on top?" "I suggest you two shut up!" Hissed a third. "What if someone hears you guys! Let's get outta here before we get cought." With that the three dispersed quickly.

Renji blushed furiously at the conversation. Word was spreading way faster then he thought. The brute snorted and hurried to his office. He made sure everything was done before heading back home.

Byakuya had finished getting dressed and was sitting on the couch, reading one of renji's books, his legs crossed, his head resting on his knuckles with his right elbow on the couch and an actual pair of reading glasses on.

Renji came in, slamming the door. It was a bad habit of his. "Were being gossiped about like theres no tomorrow!" he exclaimed, clearly upset that people were butting into their personal lives. He quirked a tattooed brow at Byakuyas get up. He looking kinda cute with the glasses...

"Let them gossip. It was only a matter of time they found out about us anyways." Byakuya replied as he stood up and walked over to renji, putting his arms around his neck. "Besides, I'm kinda the one who started them this morning after you left." He said.

"Wha?! Why?!" Renji asked, completely confused. The lieutenant looked at his captain as he put his arms around his neck. He had always thought of Byakuya as a person who didnt want his business all out there, yet here he was admitting that he had been the one to start the rumors.
