"Great catch!" Flamestripe padded over and touched his nose to hers. Then he looked away and shuffled his. He broke the silence by saying, "Er, Duskfur and Fawnleap seem to be getting close." he looked into her eyes, emotion churning in his, and siad, "I wish I had someone so close" then he shuffled his paws again, trying to get the guts up to say this. "Shadestripe, you have probably seen the way I have looked at you, and i have seen your looks, and i was wondering, do yoyu care for me as much as i care for you?

ShadeStripes Heart pounded. She never paied much attention to "getting close to FalmeStripe". she knew he liked her but she didnt know him that much,although he was a handsome tom.

He looked at his paws, dissapointed that the pretty she-cat hadn't really wanted to get close. he then murmered, "It's okay, let's get back to camp." he picked up the squirl and headed for camp, head down and tail dragging.

I know, but, i had to put it in, because he could asoome..... Also, Flamestripe is a light orange tabby with bright breen eyes, and white paws, tail tip, ears tips, muzzle, and belly.

Flamestripe turned to Shapestripe, mixed emotions burning in his eyes. he looked hurt, but still hopefull. But most of all, love beamed there, although he tried not to show it. He dropped to squirle and the fresh kill pile and then chose a big fat rabbit and brought it to her. "Er, want to share?"

Flamestripe was taken aback at her affection, but he took it in happyly and licked her ear back. he found a nice shady spot and shared his rabbit with her and then curled aroung her and went to sleep. accasionaly, he roused and licked he a few times.

(is my character taking her "love" and running with it? meaning, is he going to far with the love she "showed" for him? yo know what i mean, right?)

(that's what I ment; being to gushy and like she just showed a little affection, and he acted as if they had loved forever. i meant to do that, to give it a twist and to "make him relize" even though he is my own chacter, love comes after a while, not imediently. i thought a good twist would to be having my own character learn something i set up. lol it's dumb, i know.)

Flamestripe relized he couldn't love someone who didn't entirley love him back, so he shifted away a little and went to sleep. He woke around sundown and looked over at Shapestripe. He gentally licked her ear to wake her. Guilt burned in his eyes-for being to pushy and too affectionate-when he looked at her. Deep down, he would never stop loving her, though. "Come on; time for the dusk patrol."
