Hey guys! I won't be taking commissions on CS anymore, but I am taking point commissions on my deviantART account. Nothing is over 8 points, so they're pretty cheap. But if you don't have the points, just comment there and we can work something out. if you don't have a deviantART account, PM me and we can do an art trade or something Don't comment on here, though, because I'm only on CS enough anymore to check my messages and my pets So i hope everyone who would want a commish finds a way to reach me and get one, either by PM here or checking out my journal with commission info on dA! Hello, as you might've noticed, this is Dawny! Welcome to my art shop! I'd love to have you request something! Here's how it works;
-If you see the shop is open, fill out the form and post it (See the 'Form/Slots' post for the form to fill out)
-I'll put you down in the next open slot and get to work on your art as soon as the slots ahead of you are finished
-I don't like Chibipaint very much, so unless you specifically want it, I won't draw your art on the Oekaki forums. I'll use my own art programs, and post the finished art to my deviantART account (http://www.dawny05.deviantart.com)
-As a fail-safe way to collect my payment (see 'Payment' post) without getting scammed, once I upload the art to my deviantART account I will put it in storage, so no one can view it. When you send me the trade with my payment, I will take the art out of storage and send you a link as the message when I accept. If you are not satisfied with the art, feel free to PM me and we can negotiate a partial refund. I can't give you a full one, however, unless you don't want my art at all.
TYPES OF CHARACTERS I CAN DRAW:
Humans (Nekos, too!)
Cats (domestic cats and big wild cats both)
Dogs
Wolves
Dragons
Bears
Foxes
Birds (I'm not as good at birds as I am at four- and two-legged animals, just so you know)
I DO LINE ART REQUESTS TOO! (If you want line art from me, NO ONE but you can re-color it unless I give my express permission!)
Those are the creatures I'm comfortable drawing, if your character is something else, don't hesitate to ask, I'm sure I'll be able to draw it
Now go read those nasty rules so you can get onto ordering art!

1] First off, I'm a very nice person, so feel free to PM me or ask a question here! I'll get back to you ASAP, as under normal circumstances I go on CS every day at least once.
2] That being said, I DO have a limit. Do not beg, or whine, or pester me with PMs and spamming posts on this thread asking when I'll finish your art, or when the shop will be open again. If I don't answer your question within three days, shoot me a PM to remind me, don't spam me and fill up my inbox .
3] DO NOT ask for art when the shop is closed. That means no "when ur open plz draw me this!!11!1!", 'kay? That's why I CLOSE the shop, and why I have limited slots.
4] I don't expect you to pay me until after I finish your artwork. When I'm done, I'll send you a blank trade which you can add the payment to, then when I accept it I'll send you a link to your art (See the Intro for more on this). PLEASE DON'T SEND THE PAYMENT AS A TRADE SUGGESTION!
5] As foreign a concept as it may seem, I DO have a life outside of CS. This means that your art won't be done over night. If I'm going through a patch of artist's block or know I'll be super busy for a few days, I'll post it here so you guys know why your art is taking so long . Sometimes the commissions come easier that others, so don't complain if one person's art gets done super quickly and yours doesn't. This rule especially applies to people who want me to draw complex characters, I want to get the detail just right so the art looks good!
6] If I feel I won't be able to give you satisfactory art, I WILL say no to your request. Sorry, but that's how it goes. I don't want to give you bad art! If you want to give me a different design to do that's less complicated, then feel free to post another form!
7] You might notice that some of the art in my gallery, either here or at my deviantART account, is pretty good, possibly better than the examples we'll get to in a sec. You might ask why I didn't use THOSE as examples. Well, I've read Rainbow Dash's 'Dear Art Shop Owners...' thread, which is super useful, and I agree that CONSISTENCY COMES BEFORE QUALITY. This means that my examples are what I can do consistently; super-awesome art doesn't come along every day.
8] I've seen this mentioned on some other art shop threads; all references and character designs must be PG! My four and two year old cousins come over sometimes, as well as my ten year old brother. There are some things they don't need to see. Some basic bloody stuff is fine, but don't go overboard!
9] You MAY NOT edit the art I give you at all. That's why i'm doing it FOR you! If you want me to change something about the art, just ask! I'll gladly edit it (this of course doesn't apply to those who ordered a line art. Then you may color it in and make minor edits to the lines, like if you wanted a species line art and one of your characters has a ripped ear, you can edit it to have a ripped ear.)
10] You also MAY NOT remove my signature AT ALL. Period.
11] Feel free to post the art I give you to other sites such as deviantART, but you MUST acknowledge that I drew it, not you. And if you ordered a line art, I'd prefer it if you didn't re-post it at all, as I don't like anyone but you coloring it without my permission and when people see a line art online, they tend to assume it's free
12] As always, if you are unsure about anything at all, post here or PM me! I won't bite

(If you have a deviantART account and have points that you are willing to give me, tell me and we can work something out there instead!)
The bare minimum I ask for is two common pets from before or during June 2011! No Very Commons, and nothing under an Uncommon can be after June 2011. Uncommons and up, as in rares and VRs (not that I'd expect you to pay me in Very Rares ), can be from June 2011 all the way up to now, AS LONG AS the pets comply with the next rule:
I will not accept payment if I already own the pets. I try to take all the pets I own off my wish list, but sometimes I miss one.
That being said, I don't only need WL (wish list) pets. Any pet that I don't own is eligible, as long as it follows the rules above!
Read the Intro post to see how the exchanging of pets and art will work.
The average art commission from me merits THREE TO FOUR COMMONS FROM JUNE 2011 OR OLDER or TWO UNCOMMONS FROM AUGUST 2011 OR OLDER or ONE RARE FROM ANY YEAR. Prices can be negotiated via PMs, so don't hesitate to ask
