I put the bow and arrow down and sighed "Sorry," I muttered.

I looked at him and smiled but it wasn't exactly a nice smile "Then we have something not in common I despise and judge males and you don't mind females and don't judge them," I said as I lead him into the dorms.

Vance
I shrugged and looked down "Yeah that's why as soon as I was marked they acted like I was the spawn of satan," I muttered.

Tiro stopped and looked at him. "At least they didn't throw you into their own version of the fiery pits of hell," she bitterly. She snapped her mouth closed, not meaning to tell him that. Her eyes grew hard as she looked back at the path ahead of them. Her jaw got to working as she waited for his next comment.

I grabbed her arm and yanked so she was facing me I smiled softly and dragged my hand down the side of her face that was burned "I still think your lovely and that their the demons...sometime people are afraid of what they don't know Tiro," I said as I let go of her and kept walking.

Tiro's eyes widened in shock when Vance grabbed her. She stood stock still when he touch her scars. No one had ever done that before, and she definitely wasn't expecting it. When he spoke, she was perfectly silent, looking at him with clear eyes. After he was gone, she let out a breath glancing her feline. He stared back as if asking what she was waiting for. She glowered a bit, then walked after him. "So, why are you a dark son if you don't like it?" she asked, changing the subject.

I shrugged "Easier to get away with sneaking out at night on school days as well as ditching classes, plus Aphrodite doesn't take no as an answer she's a freakin b**** of course so its easier to just do what she says..." I muttered looking at her with a serious face. None of us liked the leader of the dark daughters, but all of us were to afraid to say anything Aphrodite could ruin you in five seconds flat I thought then what were you to do when you changed if you had a bad name when you did...

Tiro raised an eyebrow at him, just as serious as he was. "You're really going to take crap from her?" she asked. She didn't care what people thought about her, she wouldn't take crap from anyone. She'd gladly stand up to Aphrodite, she was really getting sick of her. "Your like her little dog then?" She had to ask, not meaning to make anyone mad, that's just the way she saw it.

I nodded "Well with the dark sons I could be a famous artist one day...without it I could be a no one...and if I piss off Aphrodite...I can kiss my dream goodbye...." I sighed and ran a hand through my hair and looked away "Yeah I know I should stand up to her, but no one's gonna back me up their all afraid of her..."

Tiro watched him. "You've got at least one person behind you," she said. "I'm sure there are other people will back you up too." She shrugged, then Beltza let out a meow of agreement. A small smile appeared on her face. "See, even he agrees with me. Besides, some of the best people weren't handed their dreams right away, they had to work for it. Just work hard, you'll find your dreams."
