I recently watched a documentary about this... it's called The Cove. I think you guys should check it out if you're interested in this and haven't already seen it. It's a similar story to Sharkwater, which is something you should also watch if you haven't as well.

I watched that movie, and was extremely moved.
So moved, in fact, that I now hope to become an oceanographer to stop this monstrosity.

I wouldn't eat the dolphin meat, only because it's very high in mercury. I think the harvesting of dolphin meat should be stopped, only because the meat is unsafe for human consumption - it is very high in mercury.

Since we as humans are at the top of the food chain, I see no problem with the harvest of any type of meat. Just because I don't want to eat dolphin or dog or cat, doesn't mean that I should try and force people to believe what I believe. I wish more people would see things that way, and stop trying to force their beliefs down my throat.
