Suzume whistled another tune, Oshii sang it louder, soon all the song birds in the tree tops picked up the song and where warbling it back and forth, creating a 'forest ballad'.

Itachi gasped as he was dragged into the mirror "Geez!"

Pein blinked, listening silently to the birds and Suzume.


.: Leiko :.

Leiko looked at Itachi, and held a finger to her lips, signaling for him to be quiet. Silently, she pointed over to the mirror they had come through, which inside it was showing that the Hokage had came into her office, floating in white space along with a million other mirrors. 'Even though we're in the mirror, they can still hear us if we talk.' she mouthed.

Suzume sighed happily and smiled up at Pein.

Itachi nodded quickly and watched.

Pein looked down at Suzume, and smiled gently. "I never knew you enjoyed being with birds."


.: Leiko :.

Leiko watched silently, frowning as the Hokage sat down at her desk. This might be a while... she thought.

Suzume grinned and nodded quickly "Mhmm! Does Pein-sama enjoy it too?" she kissed his cheek.

Itachi hung his head, he wanted to sigh loudly, but knew better.

"Well, enjoy it when you're with me." Pein said, then kissed her nose.

Leiko frowned slightly, then headed off in a random direction in the white space, looking for a mirror that would lead into the village or such.

Suzume grinned "Good, I really like it too!"

Itachi turned and followed Leiko.

Pein chuckled, then looked at all the birds.

Leiko pondered through the area some more until she came upon a shattered part of a mirror in the woods just outside of Konoha. "Over here." Leiko said, able to speak now that they were a safe distance from the mirror they had come through.

Suzume grinned and gently took Pein's hand and placed Oshii in his palm.

Itachi sighed heavily "Alright. That didn't work."

Pein blinked, then looked down at the sparrow silently.

"Yeah..." Leiko said as she went through the small mirror piece and came out of it in the woods. "We're probably going to have to try some other tactic."
