No, I don't own any pet shop, but I have a room just for them, a whole room, the biggest of my home actually.
Maybe because of the bin cages I use, they are transparent, so, they seem like glass tanks.
My Guinea Pigs died last month.

I would like to ask you all a question:

Have you ever felt that Hamsters are not loved at all? I mean, when someone opens a topic about them, there are no posts, they get totally ignored, at my country, people are starting to prefer rats, I can't sell a Hamster anymore, there are almost no lovers...

I always feel like that, it's weird.

I sometimes feel like that, but not often. I don't like rats, poor hamsters.

I like rats, but they are getting all the attention.
Anyway, I have good news, my Hamster is giving birth, they are 6 so far, but she's still very "fat" and she started giving birth just 1 hour and some minutes ago, so, there will be more for sure, I always get big litters, I would like if they were only 6, small litters are always better. :S
She just ate a little piece of chicken and is now taking care of her babies, all of them healthy so far.

She had 2 more, so, they are 8, not that big, luckly.

Yes, usually people dislike rodents, but rats are rodents as well and you wouldn't believe me if I tell you that a lot of breeders I know sell their rats in less than a week and sometimes they are sold in less than 2 days, it's crazy!!!
I thought it was because they would sell like...5 at the same time for the same home, since they can and should live with another rat or a group of them, but I asked these breeders about that and they said that even if they sell just one per person, they have always people interested, it's crazy! Since they are almost always btw 10 and 20 babies in each litter. O_O

I took 3 photos of the babies, I'll try to post later.

Where I live right now, I would say that people seem to like hamsters more than rats. Maybe it just changes from time to time? Anyways, rats and hamsters are both adorable rodents, and great pets. I hope that you can find good homes for all of them! Can't wait to see the pictures. ^^
