History: long story short... Parents got hanged, mother put him in a barrel as a baby and thee him into the sea as soldiers attacked their ship; a gypsy woman found him and he lived with the gypsys until he was 15; he became a thief, almost got hanged, but he escaped; spent some time living in a pub, still stealing enough so he could eat; did some work as a crate carrier; fell in love with the sea; found his gypsy mother, she told him what his parents were; he left and recruited for 'The Maiden'
Family: his parents names are unknown, but the gypsy is named Jezamel

Strengths: fighting, stealing, drinking a lot without getting drunk, intelligent, and an escape artist.
Weaknesses: he doesn't have good aim, he's better off with swords, keeping the money he steals, while he is clever, he isn't wise, and he is terrible at cleaning, he has the knack for the mess being cleaner than after he attempts to clean it.
Likes and dislikes: L: dancing, pick pocketing, and pointlessly attacking guards that didn't even notice him. D: stealing from children, being caught, and being forced to to something.

"Gannet says ye fancy yerself a cook," replied the short, elderly woman, turning from the stove to face the pirate. She was plump, and her steel gray hair had been pulled back into a tight bun, but she still resembled a lioness in every aspect. Adding to that, she was holding a wooden spoon as though it were a weapon of ultimate destruction. "Any respectable cook knows how to make skillydough. Get to work." She pointed her spoon at the counter next to the stove, where a bag of flour was sitting next to a bucket half-filled with fresh milk and a bowl containing a dozen or so eggs. The woman turned back to the stove and moved the chunks of potatoes around with her spoon so they wouldn't burn.

Sonja woke up as the crew began to, rising with a crick in her neck from sleeping up against the wall. She rolled her head back and forth and then stretched her arms above her head until she heard her shoulders pop. Seeing that Ingo was also awake, she strode over to the First Mate and asked, "Ye were one o' the original members of the Maiden's crew, yeah?"

Jack grinned, moving over to the flour, milk and eggs. Removing the eggs from their bowl he set them carefull on the counter. It was strange to cook without the familiar rocking of the ship that he had grown used to.
"Tell yer the truth, I've only made it once, years ago 'fore I joined the Maiden. Jus' a warnin' so yer dont 'it me wit' tha' spoon." He joked lightly and he quickly measured out the flour then picked up an egg, cracking it on the side of the bowl and letting the white and yolk fall in.

"Well," said the woman without looking at him, "Ye'd better well remember how ter make it, 'cause there ain't no room in this kitchen for a bad cook, an' bad cooks work in the fields." Turning her head, she looked Jack up and down and then said, "An' by the looks of yer hands, a day o' hard work behind a plow may be the end o' ye." She went back to her potatoes, taking the pan off of the stove and blowing out the flame. She picked up a spoon and dipped into a jar of salt, sprinkling just a little over the food in the pan before scraping it off onto a dish. Then, at the top of her voice, she yelled into the main room, "Git yer lazy arses in here afore me an' Jackieboy eat all this breakfast by usselves!"

Jack turned his head to her and arched an eyebrow at the nickname. Shaking it off a little, he turned back to what he was doing, cracking another egg. He pulled open a drawer, looking for a spoon and found one. A small appeared on his lips and he began to stir, adding the milk little by little and adding another egg. When it turned to the right kind of dough he grinned and shaped it, standing back and whiping his hands on his breeches.
"They won't let me live down tha' nickname, ye know."

"Least I could do," replied the older woman, accompanying her words with a slight guffaw. "Ye should have heard some o' the things me grandson Gannet called hisself afore he picked a perfectly respectable name. Type o' bird, ye know. Seabird, or sommat o' the type. We get loads o' the bloody things around the harbors." She put the pan that had previously held potatoes back on the stove and started cracking eggs into it. "Allus cook yer potatoes first," she said, snapping her fingers to make sure that Jack was paying attention. "Then do the eggs. Gives 'em more flavor, and your potatoes won't taste eggy. An' a pinch o' salt, not a grain more." Gannet had never held any interest in cooking, and neither had her husband. It was nice to have somebody to boss around.

Ingo yawned , for a moment her mind seeming absent from the world. She was vaguely aware of Sonja coming towards her. Then as she broke out of her sleepy haze she listened and replied, "Strictly speakin', no, but aye, I was in the crew, why?" she said, remembering all too well her time as stowaway and the young girl Xaria who'd helped her. She wasn't all too sure what had happened to her.
