Silence is never the answer. If one claims to be grown up, then they need to face the thing they are running away from.

Heyo guys, sorry for not posting here for a bit (as in...a very long time. \D Derp)

Might I get some redlining/critique on a lineart? Linketh Not exactly sure how much redlining it might take, I just want fresh eyes on it to see what I'm overlooking. \D It has no eye because I'm failing at drawing the eye from that angle. >.> I'm going to start trying to work it out correctly again, but if someone could possibly redline it in to show me the angle, I'd be very grateful.

The original species is supposed to be some variant of a grey wolf. My original picture, where I'm ripping the lines from because I actually like them for once, is here (just in case you need to see context, lol, otherwise you really don't need to look at it).

and the universe said I love you
and the universe said you have played the game well
and the universe said everything you need is within you
and the universe said you are stronger than you know
and the universe said you are the daylight
and the universe said you are the night
and the universe said the darkness you fight is within you
and the universe said the light you seek is within you
and the universe said you are not alone

The butt looks a little flat to me on the first one, not sure what's causing that.

I'm sorry I can't critique, my head is burnt out and stuff after this 'painting'.

http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2012/ ... 4me8mo.png

First lineless and sorta painted. Not fully, but with the colours and stuff |D

/just found water colour brush

It's meant to be chibi, more tips needed on visualizing without lines

edit;

Gift art for Susiron, her character Nox and an original species, so not really looking for anatomy critique, but style/technique critique.
Tried new shading technique and new line style, what's the opinion?

@Rock;
The back leg should be curvier because of muscle, try looking at a muscle structure thing? |D Paws are off, but I can't talk.

That's very cute, Not. And excellent for a first time. :3
I'd say try to work on defining shapes more, and making your brush strokes smoother. With painting, you don't need to blur and blend colours so much as actually just use brushes like airbrush, and play with the settings of the brush-- and the pressure on your hand-- so that each brush stroke has a desired effect alike painting. : D
Actually, with SAI, you could even use the brush tool if you want. The brush tool has preset features on it that make the colours you put down blend with other colours-- this setting can be found and tweaked with under Advanced Settings-- try playing around with it and see what you get! C:

Thanks Susi, I'll probably have a random test of some of those things and practice a bit more |D
Painting is fun though a bit... difficult |D

Also, I think I remember you saying you work with a mouse, and I'll just say it's worth it to invest in a tablet.
Bamboo tablets start at about $80 and usually come with things like photoshop for free, they're definitely worth it. n_n

OK, just asking for opinions, does anyone think my artshop prices are too high or anything?
I'll probably end up keeping them the way they are regardless, but I'm just curious.
Also, would it be a good idea to open up a chibi section? o3o

Okay, thanks, I was kind of wondering since I charge a wishlist pet and my wishlist is rather small. xD
