History: Born to Starcrest, she has lived there her whole life. Most males fancy her, but she does't really care. She prefers hunting and training to preening. She is one of the best hunters. Though she fell in love with the alpha, they had been friends for a long time.

Skystep slunk out of Starcrest's core, her body low to the ground. She crept away, scenting for some sign of prey. When she finally scented a caribou, she got close enough to see it. Then she closed her eyes. Took a deep breath. And lifted the startled caribou toward her. As it touched the groud, her eyes snapped open. She dodged the flailing hooves and bit its neck. Then, she howled, for all of Starcrest to come eat. She was the Alpha's mate.

Oriana was not far from the Core when she saw Skystep's impressive catch. "How did you catch that, Your Grace?" The young Lead asked, her rose-colored eyes brimming with admiration and shock. "I've never seen an Alpha Mate bring down an entire caribou on her own!" Actually, I've never seen a wolf as high-ranked as an Alpha Mate hunt. They usually make the Leads like me bring them all of the prey... Oriana smiled, happy that she had bumped into Skystep on her way to ConstellationPack. She needed to discuss something with Harlot.

Pisces raced across the land chasing a half dozen rabbits. Quickly she used her powers to make it almost pitch black in that area. The rabbits became confused and scattered in different directions. Luckily she could see in the darkness and sprang on and killed all six. She raised the darkness and collected her prey.

Skystep smiled. "I have telekinesis," she explained. "Usually, it is a lot harder to make a catch, because I must close my eyes, but this time the caribou hardly struggled." She sniffed it. "Maybe he was old." She turned again to Oriana. "Would you help me get this back to the Core? I can carry it, using my powers, but can you guide me?"

"Of course, Your Highness," Oriana barked formally. The tan and rose colored wolf walked slowly back to the Core, her tail up with pride as she led the way. "So," the SunfirePack Lead asked. "How have things been back at the Core? I've heard that the number of wolves in the Crests are getting much smaller, now that the Outlaws have been taking over."
