Hawksky tried to limp back to camp.

Stone grunted as he walked around the forest aimlessly; he had been turned down by eight clans, for they knew about his murders. He needed someone to talk to, he was starting to go mad from lack of socializing.

Sandstar yawned and stretched. She decided to walk in the forest for awhile. Not meeting Hawksky, she went around to the pond. Laying down, she lapped at the cool water.

Stone found himself at the other end if the pool, not noticing the she cat; he stared into it, he wanted to drink, but he found himself just looking at the water.

Sandstar licked her whiskers after she finished her drink. She sat down, debating whether or not she should go for a swim. She smiled and soon after, she dove into the water.

Hearing the splash, he jumped and hissed. He soon saw the she cat, and walked to an area where he could be seen by her. If she didn't drive him out, he would later ask to join the clan. This area was far from where he murdered his leader, deputy, and medicine cat; she surely wouldn't know about it.

When Sandstar popped her head out of the water and began to paddle, she saw the tom. He was built largely and had stunning green eyes. Sandstar didn't call out to him, but swam over to the edge of the pool. Her claws met smooth pebbles and she pulled herself out. "Hello," she mewed, briefly shaking the water out.
